2012 Interview with Joe Bouton, Ph.D.
After an association that began in the mid-1990s, Dr. Joe Bouton retired from the Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation in December 2012. In late October 2012, Bouton sat for an interview in which he reviewed his time with the Noble Foundation and looked to the future of the Forage Improvement Division and the organization #39;s forage breeding program. During his tenure at the Noble Foundation, Bouton served as a non-resident fellow, acting head of the Forage Biotechnology Group, director of the Forage Improvement Division, senior vice president and senior professor. Before coming to the Noble Foundation as director of the Forage Improvement Division, Bouton had a successful career at the University of Georgia at Athens. His forage breeding work has resulted in the release of many commercialized cultivars that are important to farmers and ranchers in the Southern Great Plains and across the southeastern United States.From:thenoblefoundationViews:9 0ratingsTime:05:30More inEducation
