Pacquiao has Parkinson’s disease? – Video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mHRpTGqjHUU

Pacquiao has Parkinson's disease?
Manny Pacquiao and his team really aren't happy about a Filipino doctor — Dr. Rustico Jimenez — claiming he's seen warning signs of Parkinson's disease in the fighter, and adviser Michael Koncz says they're considering a civil suit. From Ronnie Nathanielsz: Koncz said “what is the name of this alleged well known doctor as we are contemplating a civil suit for merit-less and unfounded accusations.” He said “tell me how can one make such allegations based on mere speculation as I am not aware that this alleged doctor ever examined Manny yet he makes such a diagnosis” adding “its amazing what people will do to get media coverage. Anyway I am done responding to this ludicrous diagnosis and we shall quietly enjoy our remaining time in Israel.” Now, I'm not a fancy big city lawyer, so I have no idea what they can really accomplish here, but Pacquiao himself wasn't exactly wild about the claims, going uncharacteristically (and rightly, perhaps) aggressive about it, and then reeling back to just say he's totally healthy and plans to fight again in April and September of this year. Pacquiao passed medical tests in Nevada and the Philippines after his KO loss to Juan Manuel Marquez on December 8.

Lupus Lisa – Video

Lupus Lisa
My faith being tested one more time? No way! I #39;m a believer! God blessed me with Multiple Sclerosis in 1996, an Autistic child in 2006, the loss of my vestibular (inner ear) system/ability to walk in 2008 (18 month journey to regain it) and Lupus in 2013! This is my video moments after leaving the specialists office Friday, it #39;s my testimony of tenacity and my refusal to acknowledge anything as being less than God #39;s grace and blessings in my life.

Deimination restores inner retinal visual function in murine demyelinating disease – Video

Deimination restores inner retinal visual function in murine demyelinating disease
Sanjoy Bhattarcharya and Vittorio Porciatti of the University of Miami discuss the role of deimination, a post-translational protein modification, in retinal function. Highlights: Highlights: Demyelinating diseases, including multiple sclerosis, are frequently accompanied by vision loss. Deimination is a protein modification that is impaired in the retinas of patients with demyelinating disease. Using a rat model of demyelinating disease, the researchers demonstrated that loss of deimination impaired retinal function. Restoration of deimination restored neurite outgrowth and retinal function, suggesting that deimination could be a therapeutic target. Article: http://www.jci.org
