Brave German Woman goes on an Anti-Islamist rage outside a Pro-Islamist Rally, shouting Sharia Law like Hitler
ABSOLUTELY MUST SEE!!!!
"This is Germany... Why are you here? We don't want your Hitler views!"
From Eric Dondero:
From the description in French, translated:
This woman demonstrates against the conference in Frankfurt yesterday. She said the country is completely asleep while radical Muslims are taking advantage of freedom of expression to spread the ugly plague of Sharia.
The gathering was in reaction to a rally held by Radical Muslim cleric Abu Ameena Bilal Philips in Frankfurt on Wednesday. Over 2,000 attended. Bilal Philips has made extreme anti-Gay remarks in the past, even calling for the "the death penalty for proven homosexual acts." The German Government has issued an expulsion notice for Bilal Philips who is a non-German citizen. He is still in the country pending appeal.
Editor's note - the translation of her shouting in German above in bold may not be wholly exact. A few of her words are unintelliglbe. My German is mid-level. Immediate assistance from a fluent German speaker would be appreciated. (LR Contact Info).

Massive Martian Dry-Ice Deposit May Explain How Planet Used to Have Watery Surface | 80beats
What’s the News: If you were to bring a glass of water to Mars, the liquid would instantly boil because the Red Planet’s carbon dioxide atmosphere is so thin: The vapor pressure of the water easily surpasses the weak atmospheric pressure, sending water molecules flying off quickly into the atmosphere. However, ancient shorelines and river-like features indicate that Mars had a watery past, leading researchers to wonder what happened to Mars’ once-thicker atmosphere. Now, data from the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter has uncovered a massive deposit of solid CO2 at the south pole that could double the planet’s atmospheric pressure if it were released as gas. “If you double the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere, it’s quite possible that you could have liquid water,” planetary scientist Philip James of the Space Science Institute in Boulder told Scientific American. “People have suggested that this could happen, and now it looks like it could be possible.”
How the Heck:
As the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter flies past Mars’s south polar cap, it sent radar waves at the planet, which reflect off surfaces within the ice and travel back to the orbiter.
These reflected ...

Water Technology vs the Coming Population Explosion
By 2050, the world's urban population is expected to double. To meet this daunting challenge, tremendous sums will have to be spent on water infrastructure around the world. But is the problem simply coming up with enough money — i.e., is today's water and wastewater technology up to the chall
Dammit, Jim, I *am* a doctor! | Bad Astronomy
With the new series of Doctor Who premiering today, why not poke a little fun?
It took me a second to recognize the voice as David Hyde Pierce, and the words are from "Treasure Planet", which I thought was actually quite an enjoyable movie.
But as an astronomer myself, I have to question the word "useless". Why, we have many uses! We help keep the coffee and polyester industries afloat, for one. And without us, people with no actual sense of humor wouldn’t be able to say "So, what’s your sign?" when they meet us, which, let me tell you, is awesomely hilarious every single time we hear it.
Anyway, if you’re expecting more out of me today, you don’t know me very well because I’ll be camped out in front of the TV waiting for the new series to premier.
Trust me. I am a doctor.
City of Skokie may side with Sharia in case of Pakistani Girl escaping Arranged Marriage
A case of Sharia Law is now playing out right in the Chicago suburb of Skokie, Illinois.
From a press release, April 20, by the Skokie, IL Police Dept. as relayed by SkokiePatch.com "Niles North Teen Reported Missing":
The Skokie Police Department is investigating the circumstances surrounding a runaway juvenile reported missing since March 11, 2011. Missing is Zaineb S. Chaudhary, female, Pakistani, 16-years-old, 5-foot-4, 123 lbs., long black hair and last seen at Niles North High School.
The Department goes on to acknowledge that certain individuals may have been trying to cause her harm:
At this time, we believe Chaudhary is not in any danger and may be with individuals who are acting to protect her.
An update from Fox News Chicago "Missing Skokie Teen Zaineb Chaudhary Found Safe" April 26:
When she was reported missing, there was a concern she ran away fearing her dad was setting up an arranged marriage with someone in her native Pakistan.
But the report goes on to note that police, despite the threat of forced Sharia on the young girl, may return her to her parents, without any guarantees that they would keep her in the United States.
Chaudhary was in the care of social services Wednesday and undergoing extensive counseling. Police could not say when she would be turned over to her parents...

Grand Mufti threatens Violence if Marriage to Young Girls is banned in Bangladesh
Overturn of the ban, "will not be tolerated... in the name of giving more rights to woman"
Excerpt, from TheWeeklyBlitz.com "Islamist leader threatens of waging Jihad" April 20:
Notorious pro-Taliban Islamist clergy in Bangladesh, Mufti Fazlul Haque Amini has threatened to wage jihad in the country if the government will pass any law banning child marriage.
He said, two hundred thousand Jihadists of his group are ready to 'sacrifice' lives if any such law, which goes against "Koran and Sunnah" will be passed by the current government in the country.
Mufti Amini said, "Banning child marriage will cause challenging the marriage of the holy prophet of Islam, who also married minor Ayesha, when she was just eight years old".
He said, "The new law initiated by the current government will put the moral character of the prophet into controversy and challenge."
Fazlul Haque Amini further said, "Islam permits child marriage and it will not be tolerated if any ruler will ever try to touch this issue in the name of giving more rights to women."
In the name of Allah "Fire will burn your chair"
Background from bdnew24.com:
Mufti Fazlul Haque Amini has alleged that the government is trying to banish Qur'an from the country by implementing the proposed National Women Development Policy 2011.
Apparently pointing his finger to prime minister Sheikh Hasina, he said, "The fire you've created by the women development policy will burn your chair."
He was speaking at the National Ulama Mashayekh Council at National Press Club on Wednesday.

The Netherlands: One single Vote really matters
A vote for control of the country's Senate will take place on May 23. The margin for the ruling coalition of right-libertarian Geert Wilders and his Party For Freedom, Coalition leader and free marketeer Mark Rutte and his People's Party for Freedom and Democracy, and the Christian Democrats has been one single vote shy.
Rutte and Wilders held a private meeting with a member of the tiny provincial Zeeland Party, and won him over.
From the Dutch News "Rutte under fire over suspected senate deal on Zeeland":
Johan Robesin, who represents the Zeeland Party, has decided to vote for ‘the coalition government’ in the May 23 senate vote, following the meeting, Nos said earlier this week. Earlier it was thought Robesin would support new party 50Plus.
Robesin’s support is crucial for the cabinet, which hopes to win a majority in the 75-seat senate but is currently one seat short. The senate is chosen by provincial councillors.
The Left is screaming about the meeting, and over Wilder's apparent influence in the process. Continuing:
Labour leader Job Cohen said it is ´extremely serious’ that Rutte and Wilders – who is not a member of the government – had the meeting, which is said to have lasted almost two hours.
D66 leader Alexander Pechtold said the meeting showed how dependent the prime minister is on Wilders. Wilders can ‘no longer criticise the way others take decisions behind closed doors,’ Pechtold says in the Parool.
Of course, the MP's decision to switch to the Rutte/Wilders coalition ensures that their staunchly libertarian/pro-national security agenda will have a much easier time of passing in the Dutch Government.
Editor's note - Zeeland is the southernmost province of The Netherlands. It is made up largely of islands. It is a traditionally Dutch area with windmills, a maritime lore, craftsmen, and ethnically Dutch values. And yes, the country of New Zeeland was named after the Province.
