We went straight in to see the nice collection of fish jellyfish sharks etc in tanks and two walking tunnels. They specialised in local fish so not much of corals and tropicals but lots of sea anemones with oth

CambodiaThe GoodThe Bad and the Darn Right Ugly
We have seen and done so much since our last blog it's hard to know where to start. Cambodia was a nice surprise for us. Unfortunately the people there are still some of the poorest in the world but they still manage the biggest smiles. The country seems to be a place of many contrasts from the magnificent Temples of Angkor to the poor victims of the many land mines set throughout the countries

Jeju Island
I took the overnight ferry from Busan to Jeju Island I had made the reservation earlier in the week and paid when I arrived for my ferry. When I finished paying I moved to the side so this pushy little old lady behind me could get on with her business. I put my change in my wallet and stood there for a minute feeling like I forgot something. When the lady at the counter began dealing with the old

Somewhere in me there is still a girl who worries about everyonersquos opinions of me. I remember being a little girl who was too worried or indecisive to know what clothing to pick or ice cream flavor
Home Sweet Home
Cool rain falls softly from the grey Chico sky. I had almost forgotten what it felt like to shiver. The last two months of South East Asia were the hottest of the year. The sun blistered wrapped in a sarong of moisture which saturated the air. Despite having moments where I thought I might pass out almost daily these were some of the best months of my life. I tried in vain to keep the journal cu
