Ohio sports betting is in the process of legalization after a possible agreement was reached regarding bill HB29, with this bill now set to be put to the Full House and Senate later this month as Ohio edges closer to legalizing sports betting.

Ohio is one of the states yet to legalize sports betting. However following recent developments, this looks set to change, with bill HB29 being put to the Full House and Senate later in December after a possible agreement was reached between members of the Ohio Senate and House.

Should this bill be signed into law, the Ohio Casino Control Commission will be forced to issue sports betting licenses by the end of 2022 at the very latest.

Given this, it seems those in the Buckeye state may not have to wait much longer before being able to bet on sports.

Unfortunately, sports betting is still not yet legal in Ohio, despite bill HB 29 being approved by the Senate in June of 2021.
