The first unofficial Test match will be played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium from September 1 to 4 while the 2nd game will be played in Hubli from September 8 to 11. The third game will be played in Bengaluru from September 15 to 18. After the red-ball matches, the List A matches will be played in Chennai on September 22, 25 and 27. The BCCI will be announcing the white-ball squad soon.

Some of the capped players like Shreyas Iyer, Shardul Thakur, Prithvi Shaw, Hanuma Vihari and Ajinkya Rahane aren't part of India A squad. They will be in action in the Duleep Trophy, which will kick off on September 8.
