Everything is about as generic as you can make it, from the Macguffin they thrust on you in the first ten minutes of the game, to the side quests where youll be tracking down an endless supply of data chits and generic bad guys.

Part of the issue is that the body animations are really bad. Everyone feels very static which is another problem that Bethesda seems to have not fixed from previous games.
