Sky Raye, also known as Amy Caprio, is a naturally gifted psychic medium, spiritual healer, teacher, mentor and business coach from Central Pennsylvania.

She is a published author, has in the past worked with paranormal investigators affiliated with the Travel Channel, has worked on a number of unsolved missing persons cases, and will soon be featured in a documentary about a notoriously haunted asylum.

In January of 2020, Raye launched her own business, as she decided to make mediumship and spiritual teaching her full time job, reaching a wide range of people in need of spiritual guidance.

In her best-selling book, Find Your Voice in the Darkness, Shine Your Light to Serve Your Soul Purpose, Raye shares her own accounts with the paranormal world, as well as her spiritual wisdom and insights that she has gained through experience.

The book is intended to give its audience a sense of peace and validation, as well as a deeper understanding of the spiritual realm.

Coming out as a psychic medium wasnt an easy decision for Raye, as she faces the stigma attached to the label.

Its hard because people use labels. Id rather label myself saying I am a psychic medium. Im many things, but so people dont label me, I gave myself that title. And it was hard for me. I understood that I had to take a risk of rejection, Raye said.

Taking that risk has been worth it, she says, as she now finds herself with more opportunity than ever to share her gifts.

Every day, its a blessing. Because the things that come up every time, whether its a reading that I do for family, a group or collectively for hundreds of people, theres always that collective message. Youre always learning, youre always developing and getting better with the information that you gather so that youre able to share when you collaborate with people that are like minded, Raye said.

The documentary, Field of Fears, The Haunting of Randolph County Asylum, that Raye is featured in is expected to come out in late 2021.

The documentary follows a team of paranormal investigators as they explore a notoriously haunted asylum in the state of Indiana.

The team, including Trance Medium, Pat OKeefe M.S., and Psychic Medium, Ronda L Caudill, PhD., search for answers from the spirits on the grounds of the asylum.

Raye was present to help communicate with the spirits, and lead an electric spirit circle, similar to a seance, for the group.

Above all, Raye says that her desire to help others has always been her main focus.

I (have been) dedicated to helping people and also developing and devoting my time to understanding the unknown, so that I can help others. It gives me more opportunities to reach more people and help more people with a bigger impact, said Raye.

Raye offers clients intuitive counseling and advice, individual readings, group readings, house cleansings, and more.

Her book, Find Your Voice in the Darkness, Shine Your Light to Serve Your Soul Purpose, is available at Amazon.com.

The 5 Best DJ Mixes of November 2021 – Pitchfork

Posted: at 5:07 am

Every month, Philip Sherburne listens to a whole lot of mixes so you only have to listen to the best ones.

Not long ago, Objekt had a revelation behind the decks at New Yorks Nowadays club. He was operating on two hours of sleep, jetlagged, and tasked with keeping the dancefloor going for nine hours. But as the night progressed, something clicked, some ineffable combination of music, audience, and vibes; he has since described the night as probably the best DJing experience of my life. For those of us who werent there, its impossible to say what it might have felt like on the dancefloor. But Objekts four-part recording of the full nine-hour set indicates that it was one hell of a journey. The first part is everything you could ask for in a warm-up session: ambient pads, dubbed-out drums, and a long, gradual climb in tempo, touching on vintage Aphex Twin, hip-house, and Balearic beats along the way. Part two brings the heat, slipping sideways through house, bass music, breakbeats, and grime. With part three, he ups the energy, folding vintage trance and acid into gqom and drumnbass. The final quarter is the real tour de force, going from hairpin-twisting dnb into trip-hop, freestyle, and Autechres woozy remix of SOPHIEs Bipp. As the end draws near, he takes bigger and bigger risks; with less than 30 minutes to go, he beatmatches from the atmospheric techno of Forest Drive Wests Lost Signal into Colleens acoustic Im Kin. For a few minutes, theres nothing but plucked harp and wafting vocals until a gravelly techno rhythm extends a lifeline back to the dancefloor. In the club, at that delirious moment, it must have felt like swimming underwater.

Back in April, The Trilogy Tapes tapped London DJ Josey Rebelle for a 90-minute mixtape that sold out almost as fast. Now, theyve upped the whole set to SoundCloud. Weaving between soul-jazz, drum solos, deep techno, R&B, vintage house, and more, its a beautiful example of the range that Rebelle routinely brings to the decks, but theres nothing performative about her eclecticism: Even with all that zig-zagging, she carefully constructs a coherent vibemoody, murky, a little melancholyand uses spoken-word fragments and treated snippets of sound like caulk to fill the seams. Where the first half is mostly heads-down house, the back halfthe B side of the actual cassetteups the tempo, slipping from steely techno into bare-knuckled breakbeat hardcore and jungle crosscut with dub sirens. Its this years most faithful evocation of a vintage UK pirate-radio broadcast.

MMMs recent album On the Edge takes the German duos trademark energy and inverts it: In place of strung-out techno anthems, they sink into woozy, spacious grooves, each one slower than the last. In their Bleep mix, they illustrate some of the inspirations behind their curveball of a record, slipping between album cuts and the songs that influenced them. A spooky 1983 cut from UK post-punks Shriekback sets up the melancholy aura of their own Where Does Ghosting End. A pair of spongy dub cutsthe Wailers Bands Higher Field Marshall Dub and King Tubby & the Aggrovators DRude Dubberflank MMMs So Nigh, underscoring the latter songs aerated interior. Toward the end, they delve into a pair of spacious dubstep tunes from Burial and Pinch, highlighting the influence of UK bass music on MMMs relentlessly reduced sound design. My favorite stretch is the one that leads from the icy pads of MMMs Everything Falls into Place through disco-sampling breakbeat house from Anthony Shake Shakir and a wildly experimental reverb fugue from Pepe Bradock, only to end up with the reassuring boom-bap of Dillas Welcome 2 Detroitthree radically different examples of artists doing less with more.

Stefan Laubner is an alchemist: For nearly 20 years, hes been turning dust into gold, harnessing hissing line noise and vinyl crackle into some of the deepest dub techno out there. Though wildly prolific, with more than 70 releases under his STL alias, he also keeps a low profile: Aside from the occasional appearance on Perlon, Smallville, or Echocord, the majority of his work has appeared on his own label, Something; long based in a small town in Germanys Harz mountains, he seldom turns up on the usual club lineups or festival bills. He makes a rare appearance on the decks here, meting out three and a half hours of well-worn vinyl: vintage minimal, classic Chicago house, and even the odd Moby track. Even when the tracks are familiar, though, its all put together with STLs typically shadowy panache, gleaming beneath layers of grit.

Noncompliant often fills her sets with lean, tracky techno from the 90s, but in a new mix for Berlin label/promoters Mothers Finest, she sets aside four-to-the-floor beats in favor of the switchbacking, syncopated cadence of classic electro. Most of her selections are drawn from the past few years, though she reaches back to the turn of the millennium with Fastgraphs sullen 3DES and revives the genres 90s heyday with Will Webs rubbery Spacewalk, a 1995 cut from the iconic Direct Beat label. She covers plenty of ground along the wayDetroit, Brazil, Holland, her native Indianapolisbut her selections are chosen and mixed in such a way that they all feel like facets of a single sparkling polyhedron. She describes the arc of the music as an attempt to replicate the emotional roller-coaster of the past two years, veering between bottomless despair and flashes of optimism. But if the set gets pretty bleak in places, it begins and ends with heartfelt expressions of hope. Electro has always had a science-fiction fascination, and in Noncompliants hands, it also makes the perfect soundtrack for our own dystopian present.

Recap: The 2021 IMS Outdoors in Southern California – webBikeWorld

Posted: at 5:07 am

As my fellow motorcyclists up north start winterizing their motorcycles for storage, here in Southern California, its a chilly 64F (18C for you metric folks). Its gotten so cold, I had to close my vents on my REVIT! Offtrack jacket!

Jokes aside, Im super excited that this years IMS decided to hold the event outdoors. The turnout was much more than expected by the event organizers and brands. I had a hard time getting to the entrance; there was just so much to drool overand this was just the parking lot!

Like all trade shows and events these days, the organizers had to think outside the box (no pun intended) and I feel that they knocked it out of the park with this one. The Progressive International Motorcycle Show, after 39 years, has been rebranded as Progressive IMS Outdoors for 2021.

It is a great transition from the traditional convention center setup to a new open outdoor experience, much like Sea Otter Classic for the pedal power world of two wheels. The tour went across the U.S. with Southern California as the last stop.

Each stop is a three day event for two wheeled enthusiasts and potential riders of all ages and skill levels, with motorcycle demo rides and Ride with Us for the non-riders. With the formalities out of the way, lets go outdoors and see what kind of hardware was in attendance!

I feel like this needs to be said first for the guys and gals viewing this for 2022: get there EARLY! Demo slots are extremely limited. Preferably when the gates open, go do the round of signing up for demo slots FIRST.

Pretty much all of the demo slots were full for the day by the time I got there, as it was based on first come first serve. Talking to KTM, their slots filled up within 30 minutes of gate openingkind of like the Star Wars ride at Disneyland.

It is different from years past, where there was a demo area to sign up for all bike brands. Plus, you didnt need tickets to demo bikes before; you could just head to the demo area outside.

There are pros and cons to both structures, but I like the outdoor event experience better overall. I just wish the brands had show bikes in the tent as well (to drool over) and extra demo bikes to ride, instead of show and demo bikes being the same.

After watching the new Bond film, No Time To Die, I was dying to try the Scrambler 1200. Luckily for me, Triumph was one of the few that did not require reserving time slotsjust scan the QR code and sign the waiver, then wait in line for about 15 minutes and pick your bike with a Triumph demo team member.

Whats even better is the self-guided tour. The self-guided demo route takes you outside of the event area and onto public streets, where you are supposed to follow the orange arrows. However, I missed one of the orange arrows somehow and ended up getting lost in the suburban jungle. Sorry, Triumph!

After finding my way back 30 minutes later, with grass and dirt in the tire tread, Im glad it was a self-guided tour. The Scrambler 1200 is secretly a dirt worthy adventure bike. Hopefully our team here at wBW can get their hands on a Scrambler 1200 for a full length review to go into detail about this bike. If you want to get to know more about the Scrambler 1200, you can read our 2021 model overview here.

As a proud owner of a Triumph Tiger Explorer, the Scrambler felt like quite a capable adventure bike. The 270 degree crank parallel twin is absolutely beautiful to my ears. Not only that, you get some decent power too.

The XE model that I rode produces 89 Hp at 7,400rpm and 81.1 Ft-lb of torque at 3,950rpm. Thats more than enough to get the job done and be able to keep up with your big adventure bike friends. The cruise control it comes with will also come in handy for those big long rides just like my Tiger Explorer. Its got a long travel suspension as well.

The fully adjustable Showa forks and twin spring Ohlins delivers incredible off-road capability and ground clearance, with 250mm wheel travel front and rear and the gold is extremely pleasing to the eyes. If youre wanting big adventure bike characteristics with great scrambler looks and some pretty good off-road ability, I think the Scrambler fits the bill.

One of the demo guys told me the Scrambler even received compliments from Lee Morrison, James Bond Stunt Coordinator, who said the whole stunt team realized very quickly that these were amazing bikes. Definitely a dirt worthy scrambler.

Motorcycles, though, arent the only things you can experience at IMS SoCal 2021. Because of its outdoor nature, the show also has ebike demos to ride. That includes Harley-Davidsons new e-bike models, and other brands such as Giant and Yamaha.

The first thing I did when I arrived at the show was demo a Giant Trance X E+ Pro 29. Besides riding their demo trail and jumping off the steps at the outdoor auditorium, I took the chance to ride through the whole show to get a glance at what to expect. It definitely made my walk after much more efficient!

I spent some time chatting with the guys at Giant. They offer the Trance X E+ PRO 29 in two build kits: the Pro 1 (demo) and the Pro 3.

The battery and motor are the same between the two kits. The Pro 3 retails for $5,500 and comes with a 12-speed Deore kit and a RockShox Gold 35 fork. The Pro 1 retails for $6,250 and is equipped with much better components. For an extra $750, you get a Fox 36 Performance Elite Fork and Fox Float DPX2 Performance shock with 150/140mm of travel front and rear, XT/XTR drivetrain and brakes, and higher end giant branded wheels.

The Fox 36 Performance Elite fork alone is already worth the upgrade. Im 511 with a 30 inseam and typically ride size Large bikes. I found the size Large Trance to be a good fit for me.

Giant has been killing it with the value of the Trance considering some of the competitors. Its tough to beat the Giant Trance X 29 platform in terms of versatility, performance and price. If you have been hesitant to jump on the ebike band wagon, I would definitely recommend taking a look at the Giant Trance X E+ PRO 29 series.

Right next to Giant was Serial 1. I had the chance to take this for a quick stroll around the charged demo circuit to see what it was all about.

I remember Harley-Davidson had a road map that they released at EICMA a while back. The road map revealed an electric bicycle, Serial 1. It was pretty exciting to see it in person.

The guys at Serial 1 explained the names origin, which was paying homage to the first Harley-Davidson motorcycle built back in 1903! This was the companys first ebike so it made sense.

They start at $3,399 and include two modelsthe Mosh and the Rush. All of the bikes feature a Brose mid-drive motor and directly on top house the battery. Serial 1 claims a range of 110 miles per charge, but that of course varies depending on battery, rider weight, ride mode and terrain.

The Gates belt drive and the belt driven internals on the Brose motors makes this ebike super quiet. All you hear while riding is the rolling tires against the ground and the wind noise in your ears. If youre in the market for an urban cruiser that can eat those uphills, HD is offering $1,000 off all models for their 2021 Black Friday sale.

Triumphs New 2022 Tiger 1200 can be seen here in final prototype testing. The brief to Triumphs development team was simple: only the best will do. After seeing Ricky Carmichaels teaser video, I am excited for 2022. Unfortunately, they placed it in a glass prison, so sorry for the reflections in the photos.

This is the only one in existence according to the gents at Triumph!

With Triumph announcing their intent to enter the motocross and enduro world and with the G.O.A.T. (Ricky Carmichael) as part of the off-road product development, there is great hype behind the heavily redesigned new Tiger 1200.

Much of the new images and video reveal of the Tiger 1200 had been evident here. Being right in front of the actual prototype, it is even more clear now, the revamped machine appears slimmer and lighter than all the previous generations. It also took a lot of design cues from the smaller Tiger 900 with a few unique traits.

The biggest change appears to be the rear end. The shaft drive system looks new, much smaller and with a double sided swingarm replacing the single. The tubular steel trellis has been redesigned and the radiator has been moved from its usual position behind the wheel as well. The exhaust looks slimmer too, and fits perfectly with the leaner profile.

I am extremely excited and cant wait to see the reactions when the Tiger 1200 hits the dealers showroom floors. Hopefully well be able to do a full write up when the time comes!

Yes, Triumph left it dirty and I love it.

The other big news from Triumph at Costa Mesa is the 2022 Speed Triple 1200 RR. It was my first chance to see the bike in the flesh, and I had high hopes to hop on one for demo rides, but those hopes went down the drain when we got there.

The bike looks awesome in person and having owned a Street Triple R in the past gave me a soft spot for this series. The new Speed Triple RR took styling cues that are influenced by Triumphs Modern Classic lineup.

Triumph was eager to point out the unique nature of the new Speed Triple RR, that its difficult to pin point to an existing class. Its no longer a naked with its partial fairing, and although it shares MotoGP-inspired performance figures and components, it doesnt share their styling.

The closest competitor is the MV Agusta Superveloce. Take a look at how they compare here. The Red Hopper and Storm Grey color scheme looks brilliant in the outdoor setting.

This was also not for demo, but a great looking bike nonetheless. This would give the Versys 650 a run for its money. Triumph claims it is the first triple to make its way into the middleweight sport-touring segment.

Suzuki had a major reveal this year: the GSX-S1000GT. I have been waiting for Suzuki to bring up their game to the sport touring segment for a while now. Suzuki finally brought the GSX-S1000F up to date in terms of tech and design.

The new TFT display can support smartphone connectivity like Apple Carplay in the automotive world. It also has multiple riding modes, as well as rider aid settings that we are seeing more of in the sport touring segment. The GT also gets cruise control and Suzukis low RPM assist. Styling isnt going to be for everyone, but I love the more modern look more than the old GSX-S1000F big scooter-looking fairing.

Theres an MSRP of $13,799 for the GSX-S1000GT+, which comes with the quick release panniers you see there. That would make one hell of a commuter and tourer.

The brother GSX-S1000 was here as well!

I was surprised to see Joan Mirs MotoGP bike sitting there. Look at those carbon brakes!

Good things come in small packages! I just love it when a company makes the entry barrier easier for motorcycling, like the 2022 Honda Navi.

Its easy to ride thanks to its CVT transmission. Its one speed and no shifts to go through. Its basically a motorcycle but with a scooter engine. This has been a big hit in Europe and Asia, and now its here in the U.S.

Plus, you can feel like a hooligan once you customize the snot out of it. This Navi by Steady Garage is actually pretty sweet. Oh and by the way, yes, its carbureted. Take a look.

On that same topic, Kawasakis Vulcan S has 18 possible configurations to help new and/or old riders get the perfect ergonomics. The handlebar, footpegs and seat can all be adjusted. The ERGO-FIT can be requested at the dealer when purchasing your bike.

Being a motorcycle dad of a two year old, my daughter has developed a connection to anything on two wheels as well. The Strider Adventure Zone provides little ones from two to seven years old a safe environment to explore on two wheels with a Strider Balance Bike.

The arena allowed her to experience the challenge and thrill of navigating a unique course with assorted obstaclesway better than the boring old neighborhood sidewalk.

Exclusive to Northern California and Southern California, Husqvarna took it a step further by offering kids demo rides on Husqvarna Factory Replica STACYC e-powered balance bikes by adding throttle and brake into the mix! Look at them go!

This is a program being offered by the Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) in partnership with IMS! It is a great compliment to the Discover The Ride program, as it gives non-rider the opportunity to graduate from an electric-powered motorcycle to learning the basics, including operations of the throttle, brake and clutch.

It is a 45 minute experience with MSF Rider Coaches guiding soon to be two-wheelers through the basic operation of a motorcycle in a closed-course environment. MSF provides all the gear, the bikes, and the coaches.

A moto industry designer friend of mine who always wanted to try motorcycles but was too afraid, was extremely happy and comfortable at the end of the experience. He was able to understand how to start, stop, shift into first, and ride around the course with control and confidence.

For those non-riders that do not want the full experience just yet, you can check out Harley Davidsons Jumpstart. You can get on a real motorcycle that is mounted to a rolling road. An expert will guide you through starting a motorcycle, engaging the clutch and shifting through the gears, while feeling the torque of the motorcycle.

I think due to EICMA happening a week after IMS, there werent many gear brands at the show this year. However, I was glad to see a good turnout at RUROCs booth. Theyve got some sick designs!

Lastly, kicking the tire with Sarah at the SW Motech booth, they will be revealing new products at EICMA 2021 next week!

One builder that caught my eye was GG Retrofitz from Garden Grove here in SoCal. Without looking below, what bike is this?

These are actually current generation Yamaha R3s! A bunch of gearheads were as surprised as I was. These are body kits that bolts on directly to the R3. You can actually buy these body kits from GG Retrofitz and customize your own.

My pick was either GG Retrofitz or the two from Kott Motorcycles. I could stare at them all day.

Paul van Dyk unites with Kolonie to fulfil a ‘Wishful Thinking’ – We Rave You

Posted: at 10:23 pm

Paul van Dyk returns to the release charts to make trance and progressive house fans wishes come true. Wishful Thinking is everything you could have wished for and more, delivering healing energy capable of curbing the uncertainties that seem to be looming over the industry again.

Trance legend Paul van Dyk is emanating new soundwaves and this new single is living proof of that. Fuelled by the power of the Berlin sound, the German DJ and music producer does not stand in the shadow of his magnificent repertoire and continues to develop his musicality. The pandemic heavily influenced all the artists on the electronic scene, and van Dyk was no exception. After months of isolation from the world he had known until then, Paul van Dyk returns more alive and direct than ever, ready to let an intense yet fresh sound flourish. Wishful Thinking features the talented Kolonie and is a one-way ticket on a deep journey into the realm of van Dyks dark magic, now out via VANDIT Records.

The new single is a complex work played in four hands, where the contribution of both artists is quite visible. Eclectic, rich and dense, the track features the classic trance elements that Paul van Dyk so well knows how to orchestrate and a progressive groove, courtesy of Kolonie. Like a deep dive into the open sea, Wishful Thinking is a refreshing leap into infinity, where introspection and euphoria meet. The angelic and ethereal whisper smooth the mesh making it an audible bliss. This intense tune was used in some of the German prodigys performances before its release and is sure to remain a must-see on van Dyks US tour.

To further spice up this release, the single drops in three different forms, which come across as distinct ways to consume this Wishful Thinking. The original version is fluid, limpid and crisp. The layers are solid, the melody is minimal and the vocal is incredibly angelic, transporting you to an enchanted realm where you can contemplate joy endlessly. The club mix unleashes the full signature sound of Paul van Dyk, spreading a tight and steady rhythm throughout the narrative. Full throttle, it takes you on a dynamic and unsettling journey that varies between a pulsating pace and a melodic sigh. The third version is an exclusive NFT mix, on which more information will soon be available.

Put on some comfortable shoes, turn up the volume and bring this Wishful Thinking to life:

Hawkeye Episode 1 and 2: Stark Tower, Lucky the Pizza Dog, Battle of New York and other callbacks, Easter eggs – The Indian Express

Posted: at 10:23 pm

Hawkeye is a new MCU series on Disney Plus Hotstar that continues the story of Jeremy Renners titular archer superhero (also known as Clint Barton) and also introduces Hailee Steinfelds Kate Bishop who assumes the mantle of Hawkeye in comics.

Two episodes of the series were released simultaneously on Wednesday last week. The show has a festive theme and begins a few days before Christmas in New York.

Like everything else in MCU, Hawkeye boasts of loads of callbacks to earlier MCU events, Easter eggs, and references. Here are five of those.

Clint losing his hearing

While watching Rogers: the Musical in New York, Clint appears to go into a trance and cannot hear what his daughter is saying. She then asks him whether he turned off his hearing aid. This is directly lifted from comics where the superhero becomes hearing impaired.

The Battle of New York

Until 2012, the Battle of New York in The Avengers was MCUs biggest set piece, a giant battle between the Avengers against Loki and the Chitauri army lent to him by Thanos that reduced much of the city to rubble. Hawkeyes opening scene saw Kate witnessing Clint Barton taking on the Chitauri warriors.

In one shot, he jumps from a skyscraper and as he is falling, he shoots an explosive arrow at an enemy at the top of the building. It was the same scene that we saw in the film, only the angle was different. Clearly, the scene was reshot to give it such seamless similarity to the original and a lot of VFX wizardry was also involved.

Hawkeyes Black Widow trick

In the second episode, Clint pretends to be captured by a group of Russian goons. They dont know it, but he just wants to know about their goals. This is a clear callback to the first Avengers movie. In the first act, Natasha Romanoff, better known as Black Widow, allowed herself to be captured and then freed herself easily. Perhaps Clint could have done the same had Kate not arrived to rescue him.

The Stark Tower

Clint at one point mentions that Tony Stark sold the Stark Tower, which later became Avengers Tower. But he does not tell who bought the building. Disparate theories floating on social media platforms say somebody major like Kingpin or Reed Richard is the current owner. And certainly the way Clint says it, it does look like the show wants it to be a mystery to be solved in upcoming episodes.

Lucky the Pizza Dog

Not many know this, but the one-eyed dog that Kate finds is an actual comic-book character. The only difference is in the lore it is Clint who finds the canine.

Hawkeye is streaming on India on Disney Plus Hotstar.

Still Moving – Justin Adams and Maura Durante – review by Tim Cumming – The Arts Desk

Posted: at 10:23 pm

Adams has long been Robert Plants guitarist in bands including the Sensational Space Shifters, as well as working with fellow Space Shifter Juldeh Camara in the band JuJu.

They first performed together at the Notte della Taranta in Puglia, fusing together in the heat of those fast, hard trance rhythms of Taranta, and sensing that something special was happening between them, together they laid down these songs directly to tape in the studio, no overdubs, their repertoire ranging through Delta and African-infused Blues as well as southern Italian laments and traditional folk songs such asDamme La Manu, beautifully sung by Durante.

Originals such as Dark Road Down combine the wild pizzica rhythm of Southern Italy with trance boogie, while Djinn Pulse sees Adams match Durantes superbly supple violin playing in energy and inventiveness. The following Cupa Cupa mixes Adams guitar with Durantes percussion to hyponotising effect, while Red Earth bounces with the combined energy of supersonic Taranta violin and riffinf guitar, and proves an excellent calling card for the duo.

The title song evokes Mediterranean journeys in an age of forced migration, while harking back to the Homeric myths of long passsage, and both the opening Dark Road Down and the coruscating riff of Calling Up - reminiscent of The Falls epic late-period Reformation - feature Adams gruff vocals and peerless guitar. Closing on a radical reinvention of The Carter Familys Little Moses, Still Moving is a trip in itself, musically, tonally, thematically. I saw them at Camdens Green Note last month, showcasing this music to an attentive crowd in that tiny venue, and it was captivating. Youll be captivated too.
