Sports Seriously, USA TODAY

Week 14 was one of the most lucrative weekends of the year for the sports betting public. An avalanche of chalk bets paid huge dividendsafterheavy favorites covered spreads across the board.

Favorites went 11-1 straight up on Sunday and 10-2 against the spread. Selecting the over was also a winning endeavor in nineof 12 games.

COVID, however, is once again having a major impact on the NFL, so its important to keep a close eye on the news prior to placing any wagers.

Two-team teaser:

RAVENS (+3) atBrowns:Lamar Jackson left the game due to injury, but it wasnt enough to prevent this ticket from cashing. Browns 24, Ravens 22 -(WIN)

UNDER (51.5) Rams atCardinals:The Cardinals kicked a meaningless field goal with 37 seconds remaining to kill this wager. Rams 30, Cardinals 23 -(LOSS)

Prop bets:

Five-team money line parlay:Cardinals, Bills, Cowboys, Buccaneers, 49ers (+133)

DOLPHINS(-9.5) vs. Jets:The Jets continue to struggleto score as quarterback Zach Wilson is last in the league in completion percentage. Miami is 5-0 in its last five games against the spreadwhile the Jets are 1-9-1 against the spread in their last 11 matchups with the Dolphins.

TEXANS (+5) vs. Jaguars:Following the firing of Jacksonville head coach Urban Meyer, theline has moved in favor of the Jaguars. Look for the Jaguars to ride a wave of emotion earlybut falter late against a respectable Texans defense.

UNDER (44)Bengals atBroncos:This game has huge playoff implications for both teams, so expect each to be conservative in their approach. Against the point total this year, the Bengals are 2-4 on the roadwhile the Broncos are 3-10.
