John McCain’s Widow Cindy Blasts Donald Trump As A ‘Snake Oil Salesman,’ Says He Turned The Republican Party Into A ‘Disgrace’ – OK!

Late senator John McCains widow, Cindy, couldnt hide her disdain for former president Donald Trump, saying he transformed the Republican party into a disgrace and that she believed he would have taken the entire country down if he wouldnt have been defeated by Joe Biden in the 2020 election.

Cindy stopped by MSNBCs Morning Joe to promote her new memoir, Stronger: Courage, Hope, and Humor In My Life With John McCain, and also stated that endorsing Biden in the 2020 election really wasnt difficult following the brutal attacks the twice-impeached president launched at her husband.

I felt that I could either sit at home and yell at the television set all day, or I could get up and do something, Cindy told host Willie Geist of her decision to endorse Biden and help him win the White House by aggressively campaigning for him in Arizona.

Trump continuously attacked the former 2008 Republican presidential nominee, including making fun of the military veteran for being held captive as a prisoner of war in Vietnam and often referred to John as a loser (which many believe contributed to Arizona turning blue and helping secure the win for Biden during the 2020 election).

Cindy wrote in her memoir, Stronger, My Republican roots run deep and I havent given up on the party. I hope it can regenerate itself, she declared after Trump lost his re-election bid. Republicans in Arizona and elsewhere deserve better. The party fell in thrall to a snake oil salesman, referring to the 45th presidents death grip on the political party.

Johns widow has a lot to celebrate lately, between the release of her memoir and being grandmother to daughter Meghans adorable toddler, Liberty.

As OK! previously reported, Meghan shared an adorable snap of her and husband Ben Domenech's little cutie watching the Tuesday, April 27, episode of her talk show, The View, which featured Cindy as a guest. "Girl power. ," she captioned the touching photo of Liberty admiring her mom and grandmother.

The daughter of late senator John McCain who passed away in 2018 due to brain cancer previously kept her pregnancy under wraps after seeing how cruel people could be to those in the public eye.

"People keep asking and requesting I show pics & details of my pregnancy," she wrote via Instagram last May. "Given that people write on photos I put up of my family they are glad my Dad got cancer and he's in hell, I thought I would leave my unborn child out of the social media."
