Since the coronavirus pandemic, some of Southern Californias tribal casinos have changed their smoking areas and guidelines.

Prior to the pandemic, most of the regions casinos allowed smoking throughout the gaming floor, with designated non-smoking areas. Now, the non-smoking areas have expanded in a number of casinos.

Here is a list of which casinos do and dont allow smoking:

Cahuilla Casino: Smoking is allowed in the main casino, according to an emailed statement from a spokesperson.

Spotlight 29: Smoking is allowed on the casino floor, according to customer service operator reached by phone.

Valley View Casino: The main casino allows smoking, according to an emailed statement from a spokesperson.

Harrahs Resort Southern California:Smoking is allowed only in designated areas. All table games and bars are currently designated as non-smoking areas, according to the casinos website.

Morongo Casino Resort and Spa: Smoking is allowed only in the Smoking Slots room, according to an emailed statement from a spokesperson.

Casino Morongo: Half of the casino allows smoking and the other half is non-smoking, according to an emailed statement from a spokesperson.

Pala Casino Spa and Resort: The gaming floor includes smoking and non-smoking areas, according to a customer service operator reached by phone.

Agua Caliente Casinos in Cathedral City, Palm Springs and Rancho Mirage: Smoking is only allowed outside of the casino, according to a customer service operators reached by phone at reach property.

Augustine Casino: No smoking permitted inside the casino; smoking areas are offered outside all exits, according to an emailed statement from a spokesperson.

Fantasy Springs Resort Casino: No smoking is allowed inside the casino, only outside in a designated area, according to an emailed statement from a spokesperson.

Pechanga Resort and Casino: No smoking is permitted inside the casino, but smoking area are offered outside, according to an emailed statement from a spokesperson.

Soboba Casino: No smoking is allowed inside the casino. However, smoking areas are available outside, according to an emailed statement from a spokesperson.

Yaamava Resort and Casino: No smoking is allowed inside the casino; it is only permitted in certain outdoor areas, according to an emailed statement from a spokesperson.
