CyberPunk 2077 Can Be A Bigger Success Than The Witcher 3 … – GamingBolt

Posted: March 17, 2017 at 7:27 am

Heres hoping they top themselves!

From going to making niche, cult hit cRPGs, to one of the biggest and most acclaimed AAA titles in history, CD Projekt RED has had a hell of a ride- and its not stopping any time soon, because right now, all hands on deck are working onCyberPunk 2077. CD Projekt has previously said thatCyberPunk will be its most ambitious outing till date- and speaking to Polish website Gazeta, CD Projekt RED co-founder Micha Kiciskhas stated yet again thatCyberPunk could go on to become an even bigger success thanThe Witcher 3.

I think that none of us expected such an unbelievable success of the game and CD Projekt itself. Were talking about a game, that has pretty much won every single award and accolade that you can in this industry. If were to expect something more, it would be even better sales of the game. My brother Adam (CD Projekts CEO) spoke about it at one of the investors conferences. The Witcher 3 was of course a gigantic commercial success, but in terms of sales theres still a lot of room for growth. CD Projekts ambition is to catch up with the largest developers in the world in that area.

And why willCyberPunk achieve greater success? Well, one reason could be its science fiction setting, inherently more appealing than a fantasy setting.

The Witcher was a fantastic material for a game, but it also constraint us. For starters, were working with a story set in a fantasy world. Secondary, were promoting a brand, that was mainly known in Central-Eastern Europe, and not in the west. Im confident, that Cyberpunk 2077 can be a much bigger commercial success than The Witcher 3. The futuristic world of the Cyberpunk is much closer to what we know from our daily lives. Its also much more popular, massive as you can tell by its presence in the films, books, comics and games. You have to remember, that fantasy is a much more niche topic.

I believe, that in case of Cyberpunk, CD Projekt can fight not only for prestigious awards and accolades, but also for a huge commercial success. Its hard to achieve both of those in our industry, but its perfectly doable, as shown by Rockstar and, in the past, Blizzard.

I wish CD Projekt RED all the luck in the world. WithThe Witcher 3, they have proven they are a talented bunch. Now lets see ifThe Witcher 3 was just a flash in the pan.

Cyberpunk 2077 Has The Potential To Be A Bigger Commercial Success Than The Witcher 3, Says CD Projekt Red Co … – TheWolfHall (press release) (blog)

Posted: at 7:27 am

Cyberpunk 2077 will be the latest offering by renowned Polish developer CD Projekt RED. Whose claim to fame is the RPG masterpiece The Witcher 3 : Wildhunt. The developers have a lot of expectations associated with the release of Cyberpunk 2077, and one of its co-foundersMicha Kicisk believes they can meet and even exceed expectations . In an interview with Polish website Gazetahe talked about how he thinks that Cyberpunk 2077 can be a bigger success than the Witcher 3

I am convinced that Cyberpunk 2077 may be a much greater commercial success thanThe Witcher 3. TheFuturistic world of Cyberpunk is closer to what we know from everyday life. It is also increasingly popular, mass, as evidenced by its presence in a number of films, books, comics and games. You have to remember that fantasy, is a niche topic.

I believe that in the case of Cyberpunk CD Projekt we will be able to fight not only for the prestigious prizes and awards, but also forgreat commercial success. The combination of these two elements in the gaming industry is difficult but entirely possible, as the example of Rockstar today, and Blizzard as well.

Micha Kicisk believes that Cyberpunk 2077 has the potential to be bigger and better than The Witcher 3 because although the source material was great , the entity in the start was only popular in Central-European regions, It had to built as a brand across the world and that obviously took time. While in Contrast Cyberpunk will be able to appeal to a wider audience.

The Witcher 3 pretty much racked up every other accolade that is associated with gaming , so if somehow Cyberpunk manages to top that it will indeed be a phenomenal achievement by the folks at CD Projekt RED.

Let us know what are your hopes and expectations from CD Projekt Red by commenting in the comments section below.

Cyberpunk 2077 release date, trailer, news, gameplay, and everything you need to know – Digital Spy

You've probably finished The Witcher 3 by now as well as its subsequent expansions, which has left a rather large hole, the exact shape of a CD Projekt RPG, within your sinking heart.

In such a situation only one thought can console you: Cyberpunk 2077.

But what is Cyberpunk 2077? Why does the name make our unmentionable parts tremble with excitement? Why haven't you heard a peep about it ages? Here we'll attempt to answer all these questions and more regarding CD Projekt's next enormous RPG.

Advertisement - Continue Reading Below

Thankfully CP77 will reach us well before this century's eighth decade. Development is still in the early stages, as CD Projekt didn't direct serious resources at CP77 until The Witcher 3 was complete.

According to the developer, the CP77 team is now the biggest it's ever employed on one game.

When it will reach our hands? We don't know, but as CD Projekt intends to release two full-scale AAA RPGs between now and 2021, it seems logical that CP77 should be with us at some point in 2018.

This should be come clearer when the Polish developer starts talking about the game again. Since the debut trailer in 2013, all the game's media accounts have descended into silence. The last tweet recorded on the official CP77 account was in December 2013.

The trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 is now four years old, and was little more than a concept piece. The CG short showed off a futuristic world of human augmentations and hyper-violence, but actually said very little about what to expect.

At this stage the game wasn't in full-blown development, so in fairness to CD Projekt, there wasn't anything to show off anyway.

Are we intrigued by blade arms and bulletproof skin? You bet we are. CD Projekt is a superb world builder, and we're excited to see what its take on cypberpunk dystopias (lower case) will eventually look like.

To this we have no answer. Cyberpunk 2077 will be a AAA RPG, but whether it will come to resemble The Witcher in any way remains unclear. Here are a few facts we're fairly sure of, however:

It will be big. "Cyberpunk is far bigger than anything else that CD Projekt Red has done before," CD Projekt VFX artist Jose Teixeira told MCV. Apparently its scale dwarfs that of Geralt's last adventure, which was a whopper in its own right.

It may feature flying cars. Last year CD Projekt was spotted advertising for a coder whose responsibility would be "creating the whole architecture of vehicle-related code and the physics of driving / flying in those vehicles".

It's an open-world, sandbox game. Expect the same, if not greater levels of freedom than those in The Witcher 3.

It's set in Night City. A fictional metropolis on the west coast of America. The location is taken from the Cyberpunk pen and paper RPG.

There will be a multiplayer component. But the focus will still predominantly be on an engaging single-player experience.

Mechanics will be based on the Cyberpunk pen and paper system. But exactly how this will be translated remains to be seen.

Transport Pro TMS software adds factoring feature with Apex Capital – Commercial Carrier Journal

Posted: at 7:26 am

Transport Pro, a cloud-based transportation management company, announced that it has collaborated with Apex Capital Corp on a new feature that can save trucking companies time.

Transport Pro subscribers who use Apex Capital as their factoring company can send a pre-designed, polished cover sheet along with necessary paperwork directly to Apex in one, simple step.

This feature ensures that Apex receives all of the information needed in the required format, so trucking companies can receive their payments in a timely manner, allocate more time to other daily responsibilities and focus on customer service.

As the invoices are selected and prepared for transfer, Transport Pro auto-calculates the total amount to reduce human error. With one click the system sends the invoices, proof of delivery documents, and a cover sheet to Apex, and places a digital signature on the cover sheet.

Only Transport Pro subscribers who use Apex as their factoring company are able to take advantage of this service.

This therapy may balance brain signals to reduce blood pressure, migraines – Knowridge Science Report

Posted: at 7:26 am

A noninvasive neurotechnology, which uses sound to balance right- and left-side brain frequencies was associated with lowered blood pressure, improved heart rate variability, and reduced symptoms of migraine headaches.

The neurotechnology is called High-resolution, relational, resonance based, electroencephalic mirroring, or HIRREM (Brain State Technologies, Scottsdale, Arizona).

It uses sensors placed on the scalp to measure brain electrical activity, and detect right/left imbalances, or hyperarousal.

Most people have relatively balanced electrical activity between the right side and left sides of the brain, the lead author Shaltout said.

Imbalance, with one side dominant, or more active, may reflect autonomic dysregulation associated with the effects of chronic stress, which is thought to play a role in high blood pressure, migraines, insomnia, depression, hot flashes and more.

In real time, HIRREM monitors brain electrical activity and translates dominant brain frequencies into computer-generated audible tones that are reflected back simultaneously via ear buds.

Gradually, and on its own, with no conscious, cognitive activity required, the electrical pattern tends to shift towards improved balance and reduced hyperarousal, Shaltout said.

In one study, researchers looked at HIRREMs impact on 10 men and women with stage one hypertension at the start of the study.

After an average of 17.7 HIRREM sessions received over 10.2 in-office days, hypertensive patients showed an average reduction in their systolic blood pressure, from 152 to 136 millimeters of mercury (mm Hg), and a reduction in their diastolic pressure from 97 to 81 mmHg.

Insomnia severity improved in the small study group, and anxiety seemed to improve.

The researchers also found that heart rate variability increased from an average 42 to 57 milliseconds, which is a good thing, Shaltout said. Heart rate variability refers to variations in the interval between heartbeats.

The more flexibility and dynamic range the body has to be able to change the heart rate in response to the blood pressure, the better, Shaltout said.

In another study, the researchers examined the effect of HIRREM on 52 adults who had reported they suffered from migraines. The patients studied received 15.9 sessions over nine in-office days.

Comparing the data they collected before the therapy to two weeks after, researchers found patients reported improvements for insomnia, mood, and headaches.

These results are the first to suggest that HIRREM could offer cardiovascular as well as behavioral benefits in the treatment of high blood pressure.

More research is needed to verify these preliminary findings, Shaltout said.
