Police appeal for scrap metal thieves in Workington | News and Star – News & Star

POLICE are investigating a theft which occurred on Monday, February 7 at TMS Motor Services on Clay Flatts in Workington.

The incident took place around 8:15pm, which saw two males filling up a shopping trolley of scrap metal from the sites rear yard.

A spokesperson for Cumbria Constabulary said: Both males are described as white, middle aged and of a larger build, one of the males was wearing a green jacket and a grey or white hood, dark trousers and a facemask.

"The second male was wearing a light-coloured bobble hat, dark trousers, a dark coloured hooded top and a facemask.

We are appealing for anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam footage in the area to please get in touch, they said.
