Political expert and author Gordon Chang warned of a World War 3 nuclear conflict involving China. During an interview with Express.co.uk, Mr Chang insisted that China is feeling more confident as a nation. He highlighted that China's diplomat has insisted that the US can not speak to China from a position of authority.

He added that deterrents are less impactful now and this could pose a global risk.

"A nuclear military conflict could happen.

"The reason is that deterrents are breaking down."

"We know deterrents are breaking down because China's top diplomat Yang Jiechi in the middle of March actually came out and said the US could no longer talk to China from a position of strength.

He added: "Australia is one of the four members of the Quad.

"That is the nations comprised of the United States, Australia, Japan and India.

"These four nations are acting in closer coordination.

"They are operationalising their understandings and part of that is military."

China: Expert on Beijing's 'nasty spat' with Australia

Earlier this month, Australian naval forces completed various war game exercises with the US, France and Japan in the East China Sea for the first-ever training drill between the nations. The exercises included amphibious assaults, urban warfare, and anti-aircraft defence.

However, amid growing tensions between China and Australia, Beijing lashed out at Canberra's involvement in the exercise and issued a terrifying warning.

An article in the Global Times, a Chinese-state media platform, said: "The People's Liberation Army (PLA) doesn't need to make pointed responses to the joint drill since it's insignificant militarily.

"Australia's military is too weak to be a worthy opponent of China, and if it dares to interfere in a military conflict for example in the Taiwan Straits, its forces will be among the first to be hit.

"Australia must not think it can hide from China if it provokes.

"Australia is within range of China's conventional warhead-equipped DF-26 intermediate-range ballistic missile."

Tensions between Australia and its biggest trading partner, China, drastically deteriorated last year when Prime Minister Scott Morrison called for an independent inquiry into the origins of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Communist nation retaliated and imposed arbitrary bans and tariffs on billions of Australian goods.

Last month, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin accused Canberra of "meddling" in Beijing's internal affairs and argued there was "no room for any form of Taiwan independence".

Mr Wang said: "Taiwan is an inalienable part of China's territory, and the Taiwan issue is purely China's internal affairs that involves China's core interests and allows no foreign interference.

"China must and will be reunified.

"We are willing to do our utmost to strive for the prospect of peaceful reunification, but will never leave any room for any forms of 'Taiwan independence' secessionist activities.

"We hope the Australian side can avoid sending any wrong signal to Taiwan independence forces and take more actions that is conducive to peace and stability across the strait and for China-Australia relations."

Australian Defence Minister Peter Dutton previously warned the conflict between China and Taiwan "should not be discounted".

He told ABC: "If you look at any of the rhetoric that is coming out of China, from spokesmen particularly in recent weeks and months in response to different suggestions that have been made, they have been very clear about that goal.

"There is a significant amount of [military] activity, and there is animosity between Taiwan and China.

"For us, we want to make sure we continue to be a good neighbour in the region, that we work with our partners and with our allies, as nobody wants to see conflict between China and Taiwan or anywhere else."

Pressure is mounting on 'Quad' members - including Australia, Japan, India and the US - to counter against China's dominance over Taiwan.

Fears have erupted over recent weeks that under Chinese President Xi Jinping, Beijing will use military force to reunify Taiwan with mainland China.

Mr Wang continued: "I wish to emphasise that abiding by the One China principle is one of the things that is key to China-Australia relations.

"Taiwan is a part of Chinese territory which cannot be separated.

"The Taiwan issue is entirely China's internal affair and is related to China's core interests and we won't accept any external forces meddling or interfering in this."

Taiwan has faced a longstanding conflict with mainland China since a separate government was established on the island following the Chinese Civil War in 1949.

The nation remains an important ally of Western countries due to its close proximity to Communist China.

He explained: "China has an aim and that is to take back Taiwan peacefully or by force and we have got to accept that.

The former Aussie officer added: "It's what happens after those first clashes in the war between China and the United States that worry me more.

"You see, the United States is not convinced that it can win this war.

"And if it gets pushed out of the Pacific, what do we do then?"

In response, Beijing state media outlets have threatened to strike Canberras military bases as punishment for their support for Taiwan.

Hu Xijin, editor-in-chief of the Chinese state media outlet, The Global Times, said: I suggest China make a plan to impose retaliatory punishment against Australia once it militarily interferes in the cross-Straits situation.

"The plan should include long-range strikes on the military facilities and relevant key facilities on Australian soil if it really sends its troops to China's offshore areas and combats against the PLA (People's Liberation Army)."

Earlier this week, Brazil President Jair Bolsonaro had also raised serious questions while blasting China for COVID-19 handling. Further, he suggested that China could have developed the pathogen in a laboratory and disseminated it as a biological warfare for economic gain.According to The Brazilian Report, in an event on Wednesday, Bolsonaro posed doubts over the coronavirus origin and even questioned are we not facing a new war?

Mr Rouhani insisted the "133 advances" in the country's nuclear industry over the past year were mostly in the fields of medicine, power, agricultural and energy.

He said: "Once again, I stress that all our nuclear activities are peaceful and for non-military purposes.

"We continue to be committed to our pledge to the non-proliferation treaty and to the world not to deviate militarily from our nuclear programme."

Iran has breached a raft of restrictions imposed by a 2015 deal on its atomic activities in response to former president Donald Trump's withdrawal from the deal in 2018.

Washington and Tehran have laid out tough stances at indirect talks in Vienna this week on how to bring both back into full compliance with the accord.

The talks in Vienna, in which European Union officials are shuttling between the remaining parties to the deal and the US, aim to restore the bargain at the core of the agreement - restrictions on Iran's nuclear activities in exchange for the lifting of US and other international sanctions.

Washington was the first to renege on that bargain under Mr Trump, who vehemently opposed the deal and sought to wreck it.

He pulled out, reimposed the sanctions that were lifted, and brought in many more.

Iran responded by breaching many of the nuclear restrictions covered by the accord.

The International Atomic Energy Agency flagged Iran's latest violation just yesterday as the Vienna talks were wound up for the weekend.

But David Albright, a former UN weapons inspector and a hawk on Iran, said the latest breach also raises questions about what major powers excluded from the enriched uranium stockpile.

He said: "Looking back, exempting this near 20 percent enriched uranium scrap was probably not a good idea.

"When enriched uranium is made into fuel plates, some does not get used, somewhat like batter for a cake."

The scripture then says a rider bathed in "fiery red" appeared after the second seal was broken.

This rider was armed with a "great sword" and was "permitted to take peace from the earth, so that people would slaughter one another".

According to the Christian conspiracy theory blog Bible Prophecy - Signposts of the Times, this is the personification of war.

Commenting on contemporary world events and the horrors of World War 1 and 2, the blog bizarrely claimed a third global conflict could be brewing in line with biblical prophecy.

However, not all Christians believe modern-day events serve as parallels for what the Bible said will happen one day.

Some theologians outright reject attempts to try and predict the Second Coming by applying passages from scripture to daily news reports and historical events.

According to Stephen Witmer, pastor of the Pepperell Christian Fellowship in Pepperell, Massachusetts, there is a lesson to be learned in patiently waiting for Christ's return.

He said: "When our waiting for Jesus is founded on Gods promise, we draw our confidence from the dependability of the one who has made the promise."

The long-simmering conflict has reached boiling point - forcing international allies to attempt to defuse the situation, amid fears it could spark a World War if Moscow is massing a force capable of invading its neighbour.

Russia has remained defiant in the face of the fallout, with the Foreign Minister promising they will not take US interference lightly after they pledged their "unwavering" support for Ukraine.

It appears they have no plans of dialling down their presence either, as the deadly BUK's were seen being moved in the Voronezh region which borders Ukraine - part of a huge task force being rapidly put in place, as a new video shows.

The weapons system was used in the rebel-held Donetsk region in 2014 to down a Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 killing 298 people.

It comes after up to 4,000 soldiers alongside a fleet of tanks and other armoured vehicles were sent to the annexed Crime and the disputed border where the Putin-backed rebels have taken hold.

Footage also showed the transportation of at least six sinister 2S4 Tyulpan self-propelled mortars, which are capable of firing warheads up to 12 miles.

In a chilling caution, one of Vladimir Putins most senior officials, Dmitry Kozak, threatenedthat Ukraine would not survive if Russia took military action.

"I support the assessment that ... the start of military action - this would be the beginning of the end of Ukraine," said the deputy head of Russias presidential administration.

Russia are reluctant to engage in negotiations, with Putin claiming the situation was down to "provocative actions of Kyiv, who has been intentionally escalating the situation at the contact line."

Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrovhit back at US involvement, saying: "We will take note of any unfriendly steps and this is for sure."

He told a news conference, "So far, I havent seen any particular decisions and nothing has been declared.

"Ive read the reports that the (US) administration has completed the review of Russias 'hostile steps': they somehow managed to do this rather quickly because usually when we are accused of so many misdeeds, its hard to deal with this in a couple of weeks or even in a couple of months, but they did.

"They will probably punish us in other ways," Lavrov jibed.

The ominous message comes as the German Chancellor Merkel demanded President Putin withdraw the mounting presence of the Russian military around eastern Ukraine during a tense phone call.

The German Government revealed, "Among other things, the conversation was about the strengthened Russian military presence in the environs of East Ukraine.

"The Chancellor demanded that this build-up be unwound in order to de-escalate the situation."

Berlin and Paris have both reiterated their "support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine," in a joint display of unity, while calling for restraint in the war-torn region.

What is happening between Russia and Ukraine?

RUSSIA and the Ukraine have remained technically at war since 2014.

Ukraine was aligned with Russia as part of the Soviet Union until its collapse in 1991, following which it became an independent state.

Both nations remained closely tied - but Ukraine gradually began to distance itself, seeking deeper ties with the West.

The open conflict was triggered by the Ukrainian Revolution in 2014 - when an uprising overthrew the pro-Russian government of Viktor Yanukovych.

Vladimir Putin's forces reacted by annexing the region of Crimea from Ukraine - a move which was widely condemned by the West.

The conflict then spiralled when pro-Russian groups in Eastern Ukraine then took up arms against the state.

Russia gave their backing the separatist forces which formed breakaway republics in Donetsk and Luhansk.

Putin's forces then launched a military incursion into these regions as they gave their support to the rebels.

Russia continues to hold Crimea - and claims the region joined them willingly after they a referendum.

Almost seven years have now passed and the War in Donbass remains at a stalemate.

It is estimated some 14,000 have been killed in the conflict, including more than 3,00 civilians.

Ukraine and the rebels signed a new ceasefire in July 2020 - but clashes have been steadily increasing again since last November.

But European leaders are left walking on eggshells after Russia announced it will "take extra measures" if NATO sends forces to help Ukraine.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said: "No doubt such a scenario would lead to a further increase in tensions close to Russia's borders.

"Of course, this would call for additional measures from the Russian side to ensure its security."

In recent days, video evidence suggests he has moved heavy armour and troops thousands of miles - including from deep in Siberia - close to the Ukrainian border.

Satellite pictures show a field camp for Russian forces in the same region as the BUK was seen.

The Conflict Intelligence Team (CIT) highlighted the base which has appeared in recent days.

"These are both "Pskov paratroopers" and motorised infantry units - they are for example, from the Kemerovo region of Siberia, and from Dagestan.

The downing of Malaysian flight MH17 from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur by a BUK missile in July 2014 caused a major international scandal.

Russia denied responsibility but Western investigators found Moscow had provided theBUKsystem that blew the passenger plane out of the sky.

Beijing's espionage agents are able to intercept satellite and cable communications remotely from bases within China. It is now feared they are able to get access to phone conversations. Speaking to the Daily Mirror a former UK military intelligence officer has said China is also able to intercept non-encrypted calls between even the UK military and government officials.

He said: "China has a very sophisticated capability when it comes to phone intercepts.

"Military can assume their calls, if they arent encrypted, can be intercepted.

"No matter how innocent the calls may seem, they could be of value.

"Meeting timings, names of other callers, dates, times and places.

Officials were then told the hack was by a foreign power.

The most likely source of the attack was a cyber-espionage unit from either Russia or China.

An MoD source revealed: They said its the work of a foreign power.

Everyone was told to use their personal laptops and computers.

"This was because the work ones have been compromised.

"It is going to take at least five weeks to fix.

The US claimed Beijing was behind the hack on Microsoft's Exchange email software at the beginning of March.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki said: "This is an active threat.

"Everyone running these servers, government, private sector, academia, needs to act now to patch them."

The attackers used Microsoft's mail server to attack their targets.

It is reported that tens of thousands of US organisations were impacted.

Mr Shailer said the astrologer talks of The trembling of the earth at the tin island of St George, war will arrive and Great Britain will come to be flooded, the new league of Ausonia will make war.

Ausonia is a small town in Italy which Nostradamus believes will invade Britain.

Nostradamus also predicted the third Antichrist, a term which he used to describe genocidal leaders, is probably alive today.

Mr Shailer told The Sun Online of the astrologers predictions for the next warmonger.

He said: An antichrist by Nostradamuss definition are war mongers who are responsible for the death of innocent people, such as Hitler or Napoleon.

I think the third antichrist is coming up soon, possibly in the next ten to 20 years. I would think hes probably alive today.

However, while Nostradamus is well-known for his bleak apocalyptic predictions, the French seer predicted the Earth is not doomed for another 1,772 years.

Mr Shailer said: Nostradamus does talk about something he calls the final conflagration, fire from the heavens, extinction level events, two or three, which would probably happen close to 3797, but he does mention several conflagrations before that.

Following a predicted Third World War and other disasters, the expert on Nostradamus suggested there will be a thousand years of peace.

He added: At the end of the world war, there will be an age of Saturn, which will be a thousand years of peace.

The French astrologer has been suggested by online theorists to have predicted the coronavirus pandemic.

However, Brian Dunning, host of the Skeptoid podcast, debunked Nostradamus' prophecies on his show.

He said: Nostradamus' writings are exploited in a number of fallacious ways.

Ambiguous and wrong translations, creative interpretations, hoax writings, fictional accounts, and the breaking of non-existent codes within his quatrains all contribute to a vast body of work, all of it wrong, and many times the size of everything Nostradamus ever actually wrote.
