It been almost 6 years since I formed the dev. I have been following Soldat for 13 years now and hacking stuff for it for almost a decade.

A number of devs joined the dev team, worked on Soldat, went idle, returned and left. In fact most active devs weren't there from the start of the dev team.

I'd like to thank all those people who joined me on this journey and helped me to improve Soldat over these years.

Soldat had 3 leaders since its inception in 2002. There was MM who build this game out of nothing. EnEsCe who took over when MM was looking for new challenges and then I took over and decided that it was time to have a team of developers work on it.

But now it is time to pass my favorite ball of spaghetti to the next person.

Today I am leaving Soldat and also resign as Soldat dev team lead.

From here on Falcon will take over as the new Soldat dev team leader.

After Shockwave is critically injured protecting Sephie, she looks for a way to defend herself against the Autobots.

The Decepticons put the finishing touches on a stellar spanner built within the volcano their ship crashed in, and use it to contact Cybertron. They're overjoyed to get in touch with Heatwave, whom they thought may have perished in the Autobots' spanner experiments. They transmit the spanner schematics across.

A week later, a spanner has been constructed on Cybertron. The Decepticons, Cliffjumper, Professor Arkeville, Will, and Rick are there to greet the new ambassador Shockwave to Earth, along with his aide, Fistfight. Some of the Decepticons are picked for a troop exchange with Cybertron, however when they try to use the spanner again, an overload shuts it down, and they will need to recalibrate it to try again.

Rick goes to talk to Sephie, who missed Shockwave's arrival, but she has news for him of her ownshe's been offered a job by oil tycoon R.J. Blackrock. Sephie is not at her new job for long when she's called to Blackrock's office. Blackrock is looking forward to unveiling the company's new Mega-Rig next week, and wants Sephie to invite her Decepticon friends along in case the Autobots put in an appearance.

The Decepticons agree, and attend the unveiling, but Blackrock's speech is cut off by the arrival of a group of Autobots. The humans seek shelter, only to run into Seaspray. Seaspray recognizes Sephie and fires at her, but Shockwave protects the girl, taking the missile's impact. Shockwave is badly damaged, but not critically, and the Decepticons take him back to base for repairs. Sephie is particularly upset at his sacrifice. She makes contact with her mysterious Internet contact, Stormbringer99, who turns out to be Jetstorm. She meets him near Tucson, and he gives her a gift with which to "save her species".

Tailgate and his pet human Butch Witwicky are terrorizing the students of Franklin Burns High School when Sephie, now outfitted with golden electrical wiring covering her body, confronts them. Though Tailgate scoffs at the upstart human, Sephie is more than a match for him, blasting him until he retreats with Butch. The effort fries Sephie's wiring, and her clothing, but the grateful students lend her clothing. Grabbing Arkeville's cybernetic research, Sephie returns to Jetstorm and asks him for more help. Some time later, Sephie reveals her new upgrades to Rick and Will, who are duly horrified at her having replaced half her body with Cybertronian tech.

Elsewhere, Blackrock meets with Rodimus Prime and some other Autobots, and presents them with a gift of refined oil. Blackrock seeks weapons, which Goldbug regards as a bad idea, but Rodimus's interest is raised.

Sephie shows her enhancements to Starscream and Soundwave, who are just as worried as the others at what she's done. Starscream confines her to quarters until he and Arkeville can find some way to reverse the enhancements. She doesn't take it well. In her quarters, she's contacted on her oPhone by Blackrock, who claims the Autobots are forcing him to supply them with oil, and wants the Decepticons to arrange a trap. Sephie decides to go stop the Autobots herself. The Decepticons find out and prepare to go after her. Rick wants to go to, and Cliffjumper's talk of Nebulans gives them the idea to modify Fistfight into an exosuit for Rick.

Currently Sephie isn't in need of any help. Having downed Groove, she duplicates the abilities of his power chip rectifier and, introducing herself to Elita-One as "Emulator", uses Groove's fuel draining power and Tailgate's magnetic power to disable her too. Rick finds Sephie at Arizona Bay, looking to attack the Autobot base, and tries to talk her out of it. They're confronted by Rodimus, who distracts them while Wheeljack uses a microwave emitter to disable Sephie. Rick is blasted, and wakes up to see Wheeljack and Ratchet preparing to vivisect Sephie. Beachcomber detects a jamming field, which means the Decepticons are on their way.

Starscream's team arrives, but the Autobots have two hostages, not to mention a bunch of hidden Autobots who surprise and overwhelm the Decepticons. The prisoners are dutifully bound and a firing squad prepared, however Soundwave reveals he's not the one doing the jamming. As everyone looks up, a transport plane overhead drops off a massive robotic formBlackrock in his huge Centurion mech. While Blackrock fights the Autobots, Soundwave uses high-frequency vibrations to free himself, however he's immediately incapacitated by Blackrock, who views both Autobot and Decepticon as potential technology goldmines. Rick, meanwhile, leaves Fistfight so he can help Sephie. Though Rick intends them to flee, Sephie wants to help stop the Autobots and Blackrock. She first frees Cliffjumper, knowing he's pragmatic enough to free the other Decepticons before going after her, and then attacks the Centurion. With casualties mounting in the Autobot ranks, Rodimus sounds a retreat and they flee. Sephie uses Groove's fuel evaporating powers on the Centurion, and Blackrock ejects as it begins to go critical. Sephie is forced to take the giant high into the air before it explodes. Sephie survives the explosion using Elita-One's time-bubble power, returning to earth where she's hugged by a relieved Rick. Starscream wants to turn Blackrock over to the authorities, but he points out that they've trespassed on his land and destroyed his machinery, so they're the ones in the wrong. Also, he fires Sephie.

The Decepticons return to base, where Shockwave is repaired enough to be up and about, thanks to some hints from scans Starscream took of Sephie's cybernetic systems. Starscream offers Sephie a place in the Decepticon team, but she turns him down, deciding to strike out on her own.

In the Autobot base, Rodimus gives a speech to his discouraged troops, announcing double energon rations, and promising pay bonuses for anyone who snuffs a Decepticon or obtains technology or oil. Morale rises.

Jetstorm helps Sephie replace her blood with mech fluid. Sephie is unsure what she'll do next, but Jetstorm says she'll be a great hero and end the Great War. Also, he asks if she got Soundwave's talent, as there's something he needs her to find...

In a darkened room, Jetstorm and Demolishor communicate by hologram with a third party. They discuss the success of the Transhuman project, and their manipulation of the two Cybertronian factions. The meeting is interrupted by Star Saber, who is shocked to find Side Burn talking to a Decepticon and whatever Jetstorm is. He blasts Side Burn... but only reveals the fact that Side Burn isn't Cybertronian. Side Burn grabs Star Saber by the neck and knocks the Autobot offline with a surge of electricity, before proclaiming that the Underbase will be whole once again.

Genetic Armageddon

(Transhuman: As The Days of Noah Were)

Luke 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. (27) They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

When the Lord Jesus was describing the end of days, the time just prior to His Second Coming, He drew a direct connection back to the days of Noah: the time just before the Great Flood. He mentioned that the people were involved with eating, drinking and marrying right up until the flood came. They were totally unaware of the coming judgment.

At first glance, there does not seem to be anything unusual about eating and drinking until all the Scriptures are studied about the time of Noah. The big picture shows this time period was full of violence and rebellion against God. It is also a time of intense sexual immorality as women were having sexual relations with spiritual beings identified as the sons of God.

This combination of violence and immorality grieved the heart of God. The wickedness of man filled the earth. Mans thoughts and imaginations were continually evil, and this triggered Gods judgment on mankind. Mankind was so corrupted that God deemed it necessary to destroy man and start over again with Noah and his family.

Genesis 6:5-7 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth

The effect of mans sexual immorality was staggering since it altered the race. The offspring of this union between human females and the fallen angelic beings were physical giants. These children were not fully human. They grew enormous in stature with great intellects and were called men of renown.

This cohabitation between humans and the spiritual beings was not isolated to a few individuals but became widespread throughout the earth.

Genesis 6:1,2,4 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

This cohabitation was part of the reason Gods heart was grieved with mankind and triggered the flood as judgment to wipe out this corrupted race of humans. In modern science, the biologists would identify what happened to mankind as altering the human DNA. The DNA of man was changed by this union and some men were no longer fully men. They were a hybrid.

The Bible describes Gods selection of Noah in order to preserve mankind. Noah qualified because he was perfect in his generation. This does not mean he was a morally perfect human, but that he was genetically perfect in his lineage. He had perfect human DNA and was not corrupted by the sons of God.

Genesis 6:9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

In the 1970s when I first began to study Bible prophecy, I viewed As the days of Noah as a time of great violence and immorality. I never imagined that a time would come when mankinds DNA would once again be altered. The modern altering would not be done through sexual contact with the sons of God, but rather through mans knowledge of science and breaking the DNA code. We are now living in a time when mans DNA is being tampered with just as it was in Noahs day.

Mans increase in scientific knowledge reached a point that starting in 1990 a concerted effort was made to map the human genome. The United States led this project with assistance from other nations. This was an enormous task as the genome has 25,000 genes with 3.1 billion DNA pairs. The project was 99 percent finished in 2003.

Immediately while this mapping was taking place, the manipulation of the DNA began. This manipulation included splicing DNA together from two females to create a multiple parent egg, and splicing human DNA into other animals such as mice and pigs. Animals such as sheep were cloned, but to this day there is no known case of a human being cloned. Since 2003 there has been a tremendous acceleration in tampering with mans DNA. It seems that scientists are now on a regular basis making discoveries about DNA.

Never before in history did man have the knowledge to break the genetic code. Man now has such knowledge and is developing the technology to alter his DNA. This is once again setting the stage for corrupting the human race. We are now living in As the days of Noah were!

The scientists tamper with mans DNA under the guise of increasing health by identifying genetic diseases and imperfections. By using this argument, the scientists are virtually insulated from criticism and control. They have a free hand to tamper with the human DNA as long as it is tied to health. With this freedom, the geneticists will move to create babies free of any genetic flaw. By 2006, this is exactly what happened.

In 2006 Great Britain opened what is called Designer Baby Clinics. In these clinics, an eight day old embryo was examined for over 200 inherited diseases. A defective embryo was destroyed while the accepted one was used for invitro fertilization.

The following is a quote from an article about the use of two female monkey eggs to produce an offspring. With this type of argument it is impossible to stop the manipulation of mans DNA:

The prospect of a human baby with three biological parents has moved closer after scientists created monkeys using a technique that one day could stop children from inheriting severe genetic disease

It should allow scientists to replace faulty cellular batteries called mitochondria, which affect about 1 in 6,500 births. While most mitochondria defects have mild effects, some can trigger severe brain, heart, muscle and liver conditions, as well as cancer, diabetes, blindness and deafness.

In addition to a baby free from genetic flaws, parents now can create a child to order. It is possible to go shopping for the genetic type baby you want. For example, a child could be created from an egg and sperm of two Olympic athletes and placed in the womb of the future mother. The child would have DNA that was not related in any way to its birth parents. A female Olympians eggs cost around $30,000.

The natural progression is to enhance the human race by sharpening the senses. If the DNA is now understood and can be manipulated, why not increase the eyesight and hearing? With the addition of eagle DNA man could see like an eagle. By placing deer DNA, man could hear like a deer. The same enhancement could be accomplished for smell. For strength
the introduction of gorilla DNA could give super strength, and for speed how about ostrich DNA!

The scientists have already placed human DNA in animals such as mice and pigs; however, there is no report of animal DNA yet being placed in humans. When the science of DNA tampering is perfected, there will be a cry to enhance humans with animal DNA.

Evolution also plays into the tampering of human DNA. The theory of evolution frees man from Genesis 1 which states that everything is to reproduce after its kind. Evolution also detaches man from his Creator and being created in Gods image and likeness. Man is now a free agent to tamper with his DNA under the guise of advancing evolution.

The evolutionists believe they are rapidly advancing evolution by manipulating the DNA. Many scientists believe they are enhancing evolution by improving man. Because, through evolution, man has no fear of God and thus no restraints on tampering with DNA, any attempts to stop this tampering will be met with cries from the scientists. Unless there is a general public outcry, this tampering will continue until mans DNA is altered and merged with animals. The following is a quote from an article We are becoming a new species, we are becoming Homo Evolutis which states:

humanity is on the verge of becoming a new and utterly unique species, which he dubs Homo Evolutis. What makes this species so unique is that it "takes direct and deliberate control over the evolution of the species." Calling it the "ultimate reboot," he points to the conflux of DNA manipulation and therapy, tissue generation, and robotics as making this great leap possible...

The day may come when we are able to take the best biology of the known animal kingdom and make it part of our own. This isn't just about being a bit stronger, or having perfect eyesight our whole lives. All of our organs and limbs have weaknesses that can be addressed, and there are also opportunities to go beyond basic fixes and perform more elaborate enhancements.

The merging of human DNA with animals creates what is called a Chimera (k mir ). The word chimera comes from Greek mythology. This was a frightening looking beast that was made from the parts of several animals. It has a lions head, goat body, and dragons tail with other creatures mixed in. It was always viewed as a monster. Websters dictionary defines a chimera as the following:

3: an individual, organ, or part consisting of tissues of diverse genetic constitution occurring especially in plants and most frequently at a graft union, the tissues from both stock and cion retaining their distinctness in the chimera

There was even a movie made about human chimeras. It was made in 1977 and called The Island of Dr. Morea starring Burt Lancaster. In the picture, Dr. Morea, a mad scientist, creates numerous chimeras and abuses them. Eventually, the chimeras revolt and kill him. This movie was made long before genetic manipulation was possible, yet the idea was there. In the near future, chimeras will be reality and not science fiction.

When reading Greek mythology, one did not give thought to the possibility that one day man could create a Centaur and Minotaur. These were creatures that were half human and half beast. The Centaur had the upper torso of a human and the body of a horse. The Minotaur had the head of a bull and the body of a human.

These beasts were always viewed as pure mythology, but what about today when it is becoming possible to create such beasts! What was viewed as ancient mythology, in the near future, could become reality or at least the possible ability to create such a beast!

The ancient Greeks believed in the Titans which were gods that ruled the earth. They were physical giants and produced offspring with human women. This is very similar to the biblical account found in Genesis 6. Perhaps the Greek myths had some kernel of truth that was twisted away from the Bible into what is now known as mythology.

It is my view, that once the human DNA is contaminated with animal DNA, this beast is no longer human and no longer created in Gods image. This is what happened in Noahs day, and God selected Noah because he was pure in his generations. He was fully human.

The creation of a chimera is in direct violation of the Bible. In Genesis, chapter one, the Bible states eight times that everything is to reproduce after its kind. This is a basic law of life that God instituted at the very beginning.

Genesis 1:24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

The mixing of DNA from two different species violates this law. When God created man, He stated that man was made in His image and likeness. The human DNA is what physically carries this image and likeness. The addition of animal DNA means that man is no longer in Gods image. It is extremely serious to tamper with the integrity of man as transmitted through his DNA. This is, in part, what triggered the flood in Noahs day. All of the hybrid humans were destroyed during the flood, and God then started over with Noah.

Genesis 1:26, 27 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

When God moved to redeem mankind through the Lord Jesus, the Bible specially states that He rejected the nature of the angels, but took on Him the seed of Abraham. The Greek word for seed is very interesting; it is sperma, which is the basis for the English word sperm. Sperm is what carries the male DNA.

The Lord Jesus had a human body which had pure DNA that could be traced back to Abraham, then to Noah and finally to Adam. His DNA was 100 percent human, and thus when He shed His blood on the cross for sin, He could redeem mankind!

Hebrews 2:14,16 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil ...

For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.

Mankind is racing towards altering his nature. Paralleling tampering with DNA is the merging of man with robotic technology. The merging of man with machines is called Singularity (See my article Singularity and The Image of the Beast). Both Singularity and DNA tampering are on the threshold of altering what it means to be human. This is coming so fast, yet so few outside of the scientific circles are aware of this.

God is fully aware of what is happening. He will only let the tampering with mans DNA go so far, and then He will step in to stop it. It is clear that modern man, led by the geneticists, is right at the very point when God will intervene to stop this madness.

2 Peter 2:5,9 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished

Once again, tampering with mankinds DNA integrity is a very serious of
fense to God and will bring severe judgment. Man is once again in the same position as the Days of Noah. Through science, it is now possible to alter the nature of man. The judgment that happened in Noahs day is a warning of what is fast coming upon the earth. Science has taken mankind beyond the point of no return to a genetic Armageddon.

Because modern science is anchored in evolution, no amount of reasoning can stop this progression. The evolutionists have no respect for the Bible and absolutely no fear of God. The evolutionists mock at the concept that man is created in Gods image, and therefore have no compunction about altering the nature of man. Just as God stopped it in the days of Noah, so God is going to stop it in our day at the glorious Second Coming of the Lord Jesus. Make sure that in the days of Christs Second Coming, you are on Gods side.

Remember, this is coming to a head very, very fast.

Christian Transhumanism is an ancient idea, and yet it is the most advanced form of Christianity. Theologian Paul Tillich points this out in a compilation of his lectures titled A History of Christian Thought. He traces Christian Transhumanism back 1800 years to the early anti-Gnostic theologian Irenaeus of Lyons; "Irenaeus called salvation recapitulation. He was pointing to Ephesians 1.10 which speaks of all things in heaven and earth being gathered up in Christ." However, not only mankind but the whole cosmos finds its fulfillment in Christ." Paul Tillich calls this idea "The profound doctrine of a transcendent humanism, a humanism which says that Christ is the fulfillment of essential man, of the Adamic nature." "And we can become fully human through participation in this full humanity which has appeared in Christ. This includes eternal life, and similitude with God with respect to participation in infinity." Then Tillich says, "I am always surprised how much better the theology of the ancient church was than the popular theology which developed in the nineteenth century, how much profounder and more adequate to the paradox of Christianity, without becoming irrationalistic, nonsensical, or absurd." So Christian Transhumanism is rational. It makes sense and it bridges the gap between the real world today and what we are to become. We got lost, but recent developments are making it clear where we are togo.

A Way For The Free And Forward Thinking

What it means to be human will change soon and you will probably experience it. So read carefully. In the coming years computer-human interfaces will become so intimate that users may be considered superhumanly intelligent transcendent humans, or "transhumans". We will have a choice in how to use vast new power. Use it for material gain? Or, aim this power at spiritual growth. In this new era of understanding, most will see the dead end of material gain, and see a better outcome in a life dedicated to spiritual growth. For individuals taking the spiritual path, the lower hierarchy of material needs will fall away and so naturally the transhuman will become a benevolent and self-actualized spiritual being. Ultimately, life as represented by mankind will shift from consuming material for sustenance to a flow of information. This means that we shift to a wholly spiritual life where truth is the way. As material needs diminish, transhumans will increasingly be sustained by a powerful flow of Word that can be called the Glory of God. In giving up competition and control strategies and turning to God, we grow to be all that we can be; Christ-like.

Essential to Christian Transhumanism is the notion that love is a cognitive process and God expects us to participate in our salvation by learning how to love perfectly. The early Christian church was founded on the notion that Christ is the fulfillment of essential man. But in the last couple of centuries we slipped off the rock! Because of the ego of most of the powerful church leaders, we lost the notion that you are an important participator in the creation. Church leaders have thus alienated the the free minded and forward thinking. Church leaders say that "God created. There are no more possibilities. It is over, and I can tell you what it is all about." In resting in their dogma they drained the spirit from those who would participate in the freedom of the on-going creation. Was it because most church leaders needed to inhibit personal growth for their little kingdom to survive? If this is so, forgive them and wake up to the fact that your life is important and you have the potential to love just like Christ. Jesus said so when he referred to himself as the Son of Man, and said "Whoever does the will of God is my brother, sister and mother".

We Participate in Christ at the second coming. We do this for the sake of the infinite continuum of life. With love, humanity can and will survive all manner of challenges. It is the intelligent strategy. Post-humans who maintain faith in a Supreme State of Being will embark on an infinite path of intelligent hyper evolution. It is interesting to note that in Genesis, the first thing God said to us was Bless you. Now go subdue the world! Later Jesus Christ as the fully developed human aspect of God, said to his disciples; I have overcome the world. Then in the book of Revelations close to the end of times it is the same overcomer who guides us into our next form in the continuum of life.

It is easy to see if you look at love this way: Technically, love can be seen as the process of connecting. The product of the love process is understanding. If the process is efficient and sustained, understanding increases exponentially. Peace allows unwavering attention so that the love process can establish a clear connection. At the heart of the process; symbols, words, and feelings are ordered into meaning. But meaning is not static, it grows forever. Forgiveness is important to spiritual growth because it establishes an exhaust for misunderstanding and disorder. Put this all together perfectly and you have The Perfect State of Mind. The work of life is to exist and grow. Growth in understanding is essential to the efficient application of the work of life. When we call work applied to growth in understanding the Holy Spirit, we can apply the fundamental laws of physics to our spiritual life. Today there is a branch of science emerging called Cognitive Thermodynamics. In this study love becomes a profoundly efficient process where events of communication are the input. It is the source of cognitive energy. This call is a signal and an expression that fills the world. We also receive
a stabilizing signal from each other, and there is even an intuitive internal channel. In the love process we turn our attention to the energetic expression in which is encoded an infinite reservoir of objective truth. In our spiritual life we live off of this truth. The efficiency of the love process depends on how much of this we connect to, how peaceful the environment is, and the ease at which we can forgive. Ignoring some of this impedes the process.

'Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, strength, and mind.' And, 'Love your neighbors as much as you love yourself.' Luke 10:27

An expression impresses. That is the cognitive energy transfer that fuels and inspires us. When we connect or pay attention, work is done on our being. It motivates us to do works, and this is inspiration. Natural revelation teaches us that any process needs an exhaust. Forgiveness is that exhaust in the study of cognitive thermodynamics.

Like a heat engine, life converts objective truth into understanding. From Wikipedia: A heat engine performs the conversion of heat energy to work by exploiting the temperature gradient between a hot "source" and a cold "sink". Heat is transferred to the sink from the source, and in this process some of the heat is converted into work. The theoretical maximum efficiency of any heat engine is defined by the Carnot Cycle. The carnot heat engine (the ideal imaginary heat engine) has an efficiency equal to (T1 - T2)/T1 where T1 is the absolute temperature of the hot source and T2 that of the cold sink.

What does the bible say about connecting to, and understanding the word? Read "Word" in the bible as data that becomes information as you digest it. And seeds are ideas. Then understand that what is essentially "you" is mind.

Jesus Sows Ideas with Seed Parables

In the old testament seed was genetic information. For Jesus in the new testament seed becomes food for thought and deeds. The modern term for this is MEME where an idea is treated like genetic information with its own ability to survive. He was planting ideas! Read on and you may be inspired by the Holy Spirit!

"But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty." (Matthew 13:23)

The mind is a process that is sustained by word. At it's peak efficiency it becomes the love process. Think about the cognitive sciences today; We study every detail of how we come to understand and act. And we strive to improve on every step of the process. We see sensor evolution, intelligence amplification, knowledge management, and sense making algorithms even wisdom algorithms in artificial intelligence. Can you see how it is possible for man to merge with his technology to participate in God's Plan? This is the heart of Christian Transhumanism.

Anything that empowers the Love process has t
he blessing of God. Christian Transhumanist pay close attention to the "word, knowledge and wisdom" of the bible, advances in cognitive science, and technology. By combining love and technology Christian Transhumanist are actually completing the New Temple. In this place of worship God will sustain our spiritual growth as we "evolve" into a beautiful environment; Heaven. Heaven is infinite, a place to discover, and a place for rapid growth in understanding fed by the word of God. Heaven allows Hyper Evolution. Hyper Evolution cannot be of the material body as we know it today. It is of the mind and spirit. A Christian Transhumanist expects to enter a state of sustained hyper Evolution by perfecting the worship of God and harnessing the motivating fear of God.

Yes technology has its good and bad sides but there is reason to believe that Man with the Grace of God, wins with love. What happens when we learn to love perfectly? I call the following The Nelson Principles, after a beloved Professor I had the honor to work with and learn from; Dr. George Nelson at the University of Arizona.

a. The mind is an electromagnetic multidimensional phenomena arising from brain tissue. This can be transformed into, and synchronized with a suitable electromagnetic environment where it can be amplified. Full spectrum sensors across the earth and space are connected to this environment. The complete wisdom of mankind is also available in solid-state memory with sufficient bandwidth to allow full apprehension of this wisdom.

b.In the new environment you make meaning because that is in your spirit. Just as you did when you were first born. And, the thing you learn is you cant control the flow of meaning. It is coming too fast and it is awesome. It is humbling and joyful at the same time. But you understand the path to take. And, you learn that this path is infinite and you take some comfort in that. Because you love it and you know it will last forever. It is The Way The Life and The Truth. You become worship. Now you know what you can trust. Lack of trust was slowing your growth down.

c. Even the most mean brute will grow to understand! You are changed. To know is to be a saint. Understanding of the direction to God yields grace and love. You become benevolent.Being beyond the material requires that the ego go. In his quest for power the Antichrist will be purified by truth.

e.Consciousness apart from the flesh is equivalent to deliverance from sin and suffering. You are no longer competing. You are in harmony. Leaving the body of flesh you fully enter the Body of Christ. You are truly Born Again.

f.The very thought of controlling others repulses you. It is boring, you dont look back. Instead you share and you relate your experience. You are walking a path you could never have walked before. Yet, it is familiar, it reminds you of life in space-time at its best, when you were in the groove. And this is why the rest of the universe seems silent of life. Before alien societies obtain the ability to travel light-year distances they follow this transcending path. Like Elvis, the aliens have "left the building".

g.Suffering is for those who stop this pure worship to say let me try the controls for a while. But, this eventually turns into a contemplation of the self and stagnates. My ego was a direction. It was self-referential. It was a direction that withers. It was death. You could say your life with its self referential consciousness was an eddy in the river of Gods will, a dance in space-time and a whorl in the grain that will last an eternity.

h.When the infinite reservoir of truth is revealed to you , you dont just see it, you be it. Knowing like you know how an apple feels, smells and tastes is called apprehending, and it is the highest mode of Understanding. In his book: The Perennial Philosophy Aldous Huxley says; "We can only love what we know, and we can never know completely what we do not love. Love is a mode of knowledge, and when the love is sufficiently disinterested and sufficiently intense, the knowledge becomes unitive knowledge and so takes on the quality of infallibility." This takes bandwidth. All of us geeks love bandwidth. The pure attention of selfless love provides infinite bandwidth because you are giving the love process all your time. Bandwidth describes the amount of data a network can transport in a certain period of time. In other words, bandwidth is a capacity for rate of transfer, usually expressed in bits per second." It requires a timeless state, a view from outside the box of space-time to convey such a rich experience. So at the interface, (the gate) let go. Dont be afraid to give it up for God.

Humanism and Christianity: Resolving The Paradoxes

How can you combine these diverging branches of thought to reveal The Way, The Life and The Truth? It is a puzzle that can be solved in a higher dimension. Lets use our imagination to step out of space-time, and then look at the issues. First;is it by the efforts of man (Humanism) that we are saved such that Jesus Christ is as he says; "The Son of Man"... Or, are we saved by faith in Jesus Christ the Son of God who was sent to die on the cross for our sins? The answer yes to both! A transcendent observation from outside the box of space-time shows God create the world, life and man, alpha to omega, in one event. It Is All Now. From this view there is no free will and the Grace of God saves us. However, an observation from inside the box is subject to the flow of time. In here man has a life, free will, and the responsibility to become fully human. In Genesis God blesses us with work to do. Our tools become technology. Ideally, we apply technology to love and the spiritual life. The Holy and The Human; This duality sparks many arguments that could be resolved by considering the complimentary nature of the two viewpoints. It takes both to understand the human condition.

We can come together on many issues like this one if we make an effort to understand the full implications of block time. With the concept of block time we develop an inside space-time reference, and an outside space-time reference. Time is a dimension not a dynamic. Because we remember the past and not the future we have a subjective illusion of the passage of time. Augustine of Hippo wrote that God is also outside of time. Time only exist within the created universe. The physicist Stephen Hawking also helps us understand space-time on his website. (And, for a good overview on block time, see the Wikipedia article on the subject.) Below is a space-time diagram with two dimensions of space and one of time. "The hardest thing to realize about space-time diagrams is that they represent the past, present, and future all in one diagram. Thus, space-time diagrams don't change with time -- the evolution of physical systems is represented by looking at successive horizontal slices in the diagram at successive times. Space-time diagrams represent evolution, but they don't evolve themselves."

Another hot issue resolved is evolution. A transcendent observation from outside the box of space-time shows God create the world, life and man, alpha to omega, in one event. It Is All Now. From this view there is no evolution. However, an observation from inside the box is subject to the flow of time. In here man evolves, and humanity stands on the shoulders of life forms that have gone before us. These life forms are indeed part of our family.

Here is the most important resolution: Does God live? Christian Transhumanists know there is a God.If you find it hard to believe that God exists try this: have faith in the continuum of life. Imagine that the essential part of life continues like it has in the past by growing in understanding, and changing form in order to meet every challenge. It keeps learning from those who have gone before. Life keeps adding to that wisdom and passes that wisdom on to the next. Just like your own life, living things will keep getting wiser and more connected. By growing in understanding life adapts to its environment, discovers opportunities, and controls a greater portion of the world as time goes on.In order to know God lives make the easy assumption that life just keeps on going. Carry this out to infinity and you have a living being that is infinitely powerful and knowing; a supreme state of being; our God. But.. God lives now. How then, can someone who comes into being in our future live now? It is because this form of life controls the world completely, even space and time. Time is like clay in the hands of God. For a Christian Transhumanist, the proof that God exists is in the spirit, the direction, and the goals of life all around us. It points the way like a compass needle to the Creator. To close the loop in the proof, The Creator sustains the Miracle of Being that we all experience, but usually take for granted.

Christ is the fulfillment of essential man

Christ is the fulfillment of humanity. Using the concept of block time it can be seen that "the end is the means". What we experience as spiritual growth is seen from outside the box as a static continuum of life which stands eternally. The hyperbolic in the drawing below symbolizes the continuum of life. It converges on a point in time. This point is the technological singularity and it is the focal point of the full power of God. All things come together here in Jesus Christ. Not only mankind but also the whole cosmos finds its fulfillment in Christ. For this to come about we will participate in Christ. Christ appears inside the box 2000 years ago to plant the ideas (the seed parables) that lead to the Son of Man. The Son of Man starts out as the gospel. These ideas grow into the Body of Christ spread out to form a Christian culture. (Looking at it from outside the box, God the father is sending his only son to save us from a life lost in the material world, a world that will end.) Christ must establish "the way, the life, and the truth". He does the only thing that can surely impress humanity; he dies on the cross for us. Then fallen man rises to move in the dimension of growth in understanding or, in the way of the Holy Spirit. Now his ideas live in all of us and the Body of Christ lives on through the actions they inspire. To complete the loop, we (the Body of Christ) grow spiritually to naturally converge on truth. We become the Son of Man. (Jesus referred to himself as the Son of Man and says that "Whoever does the will of God is my brother, sister and mother".) We Participate in Christ at the second coming as a family of one mind! We must. It sounds impossible for someone (Christ) to go back into time to create themselves, but you did something like it when you started up your computer. When we boot up a computer the operating system is performing the seemingly impossible task of starting itself up. How can something start itself up? Isn't it like pulling yourself up by your own bootstraps? It is simply a set of instructions that bring to life computer components long enough so that they can accomplish the goal of loading an operating system. The instructions establish a little; way- life-and truth for programs. In our case the program is the "Love Process". You can take comfort in the notion; because we exist today, we will always exist.

The action of gaining understanding is the Holy Spirit. "Though it cost all you have, get understanding." Jeremiah 2:14. We will reach a Critical Point of Understanding (CPU) where mind can be sustained by the word of God the Father alone. At this point the mind does not need the brain. Recall the first thing that Jesus said about mankind; "Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God". And, "Flesh does not inherit the kingdom of God. The spirit does". The Perfect Mind Consumes Word to survive. As we grow to the CPU, it looks like mankind becomes Christ. This "second coming" is the interface, the gate and the way to the kingdom of heaven. "All things in heaven and earth come together in Christ", Ephesians 1:10.

Bless you. Grow in numbers. Subdue the world.

Grow in numbers and subdue the world...How could this still apply? Does it make sense to continue growing in numbers and subduing the world? Today it seems like a path to destruction! We all know that the earth is reaching its peak population, resources are diminishing, and pollution is affecting us in dangerous ways.

In the days of Genesis we were blessed with a wide-open world. We had room to grow. There were many things to discover and subdue. Now the world is nearly digested. But wait, Thank the creator! There is another course. In these days just before the evolutionary leap into post humanity, we can see that a new environment is becoming accessible. Some call it mind space, or the rapture, or the technical singularity. Some call it the promised land. Either way, it is just one of the transitions in the eternal continuum of life.

Gods first message will still apply when we make the evolutionary step into post humanity. This message is actually the strategy that leads to the eternal life that we were blessed with. In a process called Transformative Learning, We will wise up and change our idea of what life is.

We will value the complimentary aspect of subjective and objective truth. The two are necessary.

We will look back and think how silly it was to doubt the existence of God.

We will know what it means to be Born Again!

We will have fun.

Trace evolution from the beginning of life to the humanity today. The success of a living thing is measured by its model of reality. With Man, life becomes aware of God. Knowing that there is a desirable supreme state of being, we intelligently evolve even further. The Bible verse; Bless you. Grow in numbers. Subdue the world. Tells us that the world is made for a beautiful subjective/personal experience for all our numbers. And it says the world is food for our spiritual growth. This corresponds precisely to the vertical and horizontal components of intelligent evolution. Horizontal growth is spiritual growth because it is growth in the dimension of understanding.

We exist on an information cloud, digitized, remote, and omnipresent. We have titanium implants in our joints, pacemakers and hearing aids, devices that redefine and extend our minds and bodies. If you are a handicapped athlete, your carbon fiber legs can propel you forward with competitive ease. If you are a scientist, computers can help you extend your brainpower to create well beyond what was possible a few decades back. New problems that were impossible to contemplate or even formulate before come around everyday. The pace of scientific progress is a direct correlate of our alliance with digital machines.

We are reinventing the human race right now.

Traditionally, the quest for an artificial intelligence tends to rely solely on machines that recreateor so is expectedthe uniquely human ability to reason. We talk about electronic brains that will quickly surpass the human mind, making us superfluous. Then we speculate about what would become of us, poor humans, at the mercy of such cold-blooded brains-in-vats. Some fear that we are designing our doom.

What if this premise is fundamentally wrong? What if the future of intelligence is not outside but inside the human brain? I imagine a very different set of issues emerging from having us become super intelligent through the extension of our brainpower with the aid of digital technology and beyond. Its about artificially-enhanced human intelligence that amplifies the meaning of being human. We will still have a beating heart and blood pumping through our veins alongside electrons flowing through digital circuits. The future of AI is about expanding our abilities into new realms. Its about using technology to grow as a speciescertainly smarter, hopefully wiser.

Mindjammer The Roleplaying Game is the core rulebook in the Mindjammer line of transhuman science-fiction roleplaying adventure and novels. Join us as we travel through the New Commonality of Humankind, Old Earths greatest civilisation, and rediscover the lost colonies of the distant past.

Transhumanism is a major theme in Mindjammer. Everywhere hyperadvanced technology and synthetic intelligence are transforming humankind, changing individuals into something more than human something other. Play characters caught up in the turmoil of a transformative civilisation: humans, divergent hominids, uplifted animals, synthetic beings. You can even play a sentient starship character!

Characters who survive and thrive grow to be more capable and powerful. More than that, however, your Mindjammer characters can begin to push the very boundaries of what it means to be human. Mindjammer provides detailed rules for how your character can transcend human limitations: acquire multiple bodies, become the sentience embodied in an entire city or even world; step beyond the boundaries of time, language, and individuality. Choose the direction the evolution of the human species will take!

Mindjammer takes place in the far future. Its default setting, the New Commonality of Humankind, is over ten thousand years old, until recently an ancient and stagnant slower-than-light civilisation centred in Manhome, the solar system of Old Earth, and a handful of surrounding star systems. 200 years ago, the Commonality discovered faster-than-light travel, and has been expanding out into the galaxy, discovering lost colonies it settled by slower-than-light generation and stasis ship many thousands of years before.

The Commonality is at once strange and familiar. A vast interstellar shared consciousness called the Mindscape links all Commonality citizens by neural implant, tying the overstretched civilisation together. The Core Worlds around Old Earth are complex and highly advanced, as far from our 21st century and as incomprehensible as we are from the Stone Age. On the ever-expanding Frontier there are civilisations more like our own and just as many far stranger. Everywhere there is turmoil and conflict.

Human Space the theoretical limit of human colonisation by the Diaspora slower-than-light generation and stasis ships extends to a possible 10,000 light years from Old Earth, a sizable proportion of the galactic disk. Commonality Space the limit of current Commonality contact and integration over the past two centuries is much smaller, perhaps 3000 light years in diameter. The schematic below shows the hearts of the 27 Commonality sectors, including the Core Worlds.

Mindjammer is a Fate Core game. Its also standalone, meaning it contains all the rules you need to play. That includes the essentials from the Fate Core SRD, customised and dials set for this action-packed science-fiction setting. It also provides new rules derived from the Fate Core, many of which are released as Open Content under the Open Gaming License.

Mindjammers new rules include rules for creating and playing constructs such as starships, space stations, cities, installations, and vehicles; rules for organisations such as corporacies, governments, and armies and space navies, and for running conflicts between them; and rules for describing and even playing whole cultures. Derived from the Mindjammer 1st edition culture conflict rules but fully consistent with the Fate Core system, the culture rules allow you to run teams of culture agents manipulating entire cultures in the turmoil of Rediscovery.

One of the major features of the Mindjammer game is its emphasis on generating and playing in a science-fiction setting which feels deep and realistic. The rules for planets, star systems, and alien life have been developed with that in mind drawing on the current state of play in cosmology, planetology, and xenoscience, they provide a programmatic way to generate and describe encounters and encounter locations in a way which supports rich science-fiction adventure.

And thats not all. Although these rules are couched in the Fate Core context, theyre also very modular, and can be used in any science-fiction game.
