A new brand will be entering the Moto3 World Championship in 2022: CF Moto from China. The news was given bySpeedweek.com, which explained how this came about under the aegis of Stefan Pierer, the head of the namesake company to which KTM belongs. The Chinese company will not race with a completely new bike but will use a rebranded KTM, as is already the case with GasGas and Husqvarna.

The collaboration between Pierer Mobility and CF Moto was born in 2017, and they recently inaugurated a new factory in Hangzhou, with the capability of building up to 50,000 motorcycles a year. KTM, along with its partner, is aiming at the Chinese market, where the 999 and 750 cc twin-cylinder engines will be constructed, as well as smaller displacement motorcycles.

The Prustel GP team was chosen to enter the World Championship, and its programs should be announced at the second Misano Grand Prix at the end of October.
