Texas is a big state. It is the second largest in the country, in fact in regard to its size and total population.

Clearly, given the results that a state with just a fraction of the number of people living there compared to what Texas boasts, as well as only being a fraction of the size, is showing just how much the Lone Star State is currently missing out and how they are losing ground to those in the US in regard to the onlineentertainment industry.

What should Texas be looking to do in order to rectify the loss of ground?

So what can be done? Thankfully, not all is lost as there is plenty that can be done, although there will be some catchup being required to be played.

Well, first and foremost, Texas lawmakers need to start taking the issue of online gambling and sports betting seriously.

A Watershed Moment in Dice-Blowing History

The 1950 Broadway musical Guys and Dolls was based on several Damon Runyan short stories and featured an entire cast for whom the adjective runyanesque was invented.

The verse that makes this song a classic (and pertinent to our discussion here) is:

I doubt that the songor even the Guys and Dolls from which it camewere instrumental in creating the blow-on-your-boyfriends-dice gesture but they both served to popularize it on a grand scale.
