What #39;s up with that? In the old days, gluten was just a problem for the few people with Celiac Disease. Not anymore. Especially since the introduction of genetically modified grains, there is a huge surge in the number of people who shouldn #39;t eat foods containing gluten. A problem is that traditional lab testing is only looking for Celiac, which is the tip of the iceberg. There are frequently false negatives on the standard tests. This is because there are actually 12 antigens to gluten and gliadin, but the standard tests are only checking for 1. The actual huge iceberg is the group of people who have non-Celiac gluten reactivity. This means that their immune system is reacting to the gluten. They may or may not have digestive symptoms when they eat gluten. They might just have some brain fog, some joint pain, feel tired, or they might feel fine and just have slightly elevated liver enzymes. The fact is that if they have an immune response at all, they need to stop gluten completely and forever. Otherwise, it can lead to liver cancer, dementia, thyroid problems, skin problems like psoriasis or rashes, ADD, joint pains, and predispose to many of the diseases you may have heard of like MS (multiple sclerosis). This shampoo is really good for cleaning the scalp, making hair stronger with less hair loss. My hair is fine, thin, damaged, lots of breakage, unreverted ends, and flaky dry scalp from psoriasis. So i decided to try this shampoo which gets rid of residue, appears to thicken hair and make it stronger. I have noticed less hair loss when I shampoo and comb my hair as far as my hair being thicker its only a little but it does feel stronger to me. My scalp feels cleaner and has significantly reduced flakes. I cover my hair every night with a silk bonnet to help reduce hair breakage and moisturize with couple drops of coconut oil only (only on ends) when my hair looks extra dry. Too much product on my thin hair will cause it to look greasy, dirty and unmanagable. When styling I spray on heat protectant, let it air dry about 80% then blow dry only first two inches of roots a little on low heat. I flat iron hair by tapping roots 3-4 times then one fast slide down to ends on number 10 or 200 #39; .
