The Crisis On Infinite Earths"five-part TV series event featured numerous cameos from all across the DC Universes properties, but one that didn't make it wasCameron Cuffes Seyg-El from the canceled Krypton.
"We were actually going to have Cameron play a Kryptonian elder, said Arrow Co-Creator Marc Guggenheim on Fake Nerd Podcast, so we could play a little fast and loose with continuity if we had to.

On Krypton, Cuffe plays Seyg-El, the father of Jor-El, which makes him the grandfather of both Superman and Supergirl. The show takes place prior to the planet's fated destruction, and Seyg must wrestle with this knowledge and fight against the tyranny of Zod.
Crisis provided a reason to bring in Cuffe, whether he was referred to as an El or not. His inclusion would have been enough of a link between the Arrowverses Supergirl and Superman to warrant his presence.
Guggenheimwent on to say, When Alura was basically grabbing Kal-El and Lois on Argo, to take them to the ship, we were going to have this Kryptonian elder essentially hologram in with important information about the destruction of the multiverse. So that stuff is actually written!"

While he would have appeared in the form of a hologram, it still would have beena thrill for fansto see Cuffe make this cameo. Havinga generational quasi-Super-family reunion would have added even more gravity to an already hefty story, and it might have happened if Kryptonhadn't been cancelled and Cuffe didnt have other commitments at the time.
Crisis On Infinite Earths spanned five shows: Supergirl, Batwoman, The Flash, Arrowand Legends of Tomorrow. The story required the universes seven paragons to stop the Anti-Monitor from destroying the multiverse with anti-matter waves.
