WARNING: The following contains spoilers for He-Man and the Masters of the Multiverse #4, by Tim Seeley, Tom Derenick, Matt Yackey and Saida Temofonte, on sale now.

He-Man and the Masters of the Multiverse has flipped the script on the fantasy franchise with Keldor, the warrior who becomes Skeletor on most worlds, proving to be quite the hero the cinematic He-Man who was portrayed by Dolph Lundgren in the '80s. However, they're some of the only He-Men left in the Multiverse, since, the Anti-He-Man has been killing them and collecting alternate reality Power Swords so he could access the Prime Source and reshape reality.

InHe-Man and the Masters of the Multiverse #4, the Anti-He-Man continues his conquest to the first Eternia, where he can harness this power, Keldor and the movie He-Man discover that the key to everything is the first and most powerful Sword of Power, and they also learn that it could be Eternia's deadliest weapon in Anti-He-Man's hands.

This sword has been split into two halves, a dark and light one, with both hidden on the planet. However, Anti-He-Man wakes up after being nursed by the innocent civilians who found him after he fell through a portal, only to kill them and take the dark half for himself. The first He-Man arrives, and he realizes he has to work with his two new counterparts to head to a volcanic breach where the other half was hidden. He explains that He-Ro and the first Eternians used science to defeat the Dark Gods and hid the weapon away after the fact.

Unfortunately, by the time they getto the lava-filled region, Anti-He-Man has already unlocked the sword and combined both halves. A brawl ensues, but the villain escapes and the heroes have to chase him to the Prime Castle Grayskull, where the villain wants to tap into the castle's mystical core. This is a huge step up from the other swords that merely grant Adam the power to turn into He-Man on any world, where he can still be killed.

Effectively, this sword makes its Anti-He-Mana god, and it's why the first Skeletor tries to attain it too. He feigns being an ally and when he betrays Keldor and Lundgren He-Man, the Anti-He-Man absorbs the Prime Source into his sword to take back to Castle Hellskull in the Anti-Eternia realm. Keldor, though, makes a last-ditch attempt to stop him but the Anti-He-Man makes quick work of everyone. He seems to have split the Source into two, with each part going in a sword.

As this castle's watchdog, Teela, notes, the Anti He-Man now has the energy of all Dark Gods at his control and only one thing can follow: doom. The cosmic key or other Power Swords won't be able to contend with what's to come because the Anti He-Man really has become the most lethalvillain the Multiverse has ever seen.

Goku Is DEFINITELY Stronger Than Superman - Here's Why

I'm a former Chemical Engineer. It was boring so I decided to write about things I love. On the geek side of things, I write about comics, cartoons, video games, television, movies and basically, all things nerdy. I also write about music in terms of punk, indie, hardcore and emo because well, they rock! If you're bored by now, then you also don't want to hear that I write for ESPN on the PR side of things. And yes, I've written sports for them too! Not bad for someone from the Caribbean, eh? To top all this off, I've scribed short films and documentaries, conceptualizing stories and scripts from a human interest and social justice perspective. Business-wise, I make big cheddar (not really) as a copywriter and digital strategist working with some of the top brands in the Latin America region. In closing, let me remind you that the geek shall inherit the Earth. Oh, FYI, I'd love to write the Gargoyles movie for Disney. YOLO.
