Detroit Lions sign wide receiver Josh Reynolds to 2-year contract extension – MLive.com
Posted: March 8, 2022 at 10:37 pm
Josh Reynolds is getting a new deal with the Detroit Lions after impressing with the team during a seven-game run to end the season. The wide receivers agency reports the contract is for two years.
Reynolds landed in Detroit after requesting his release from the Tennessee Titans. After a career showing for the Los Angeles Rams, he signed with the Titans for a significant role on a contending team. But then the Titans added Julio Jones to their receiver room. Reynolds didnt see many chances behind A.J. Brown and Jones in the Derrick Henry-centric attack. He eventually found the opportunity he was looking for with the Lions. His new deal is reportedly worth up to $12 million. Not too shabby for someone who signed a one-year deal worth $1.75 million in Tennessee this time last year.
He was honest after landing with the team, too. Reynolds said he was looking for chances to prove his ability and that if he were looking to join a winning team, he wouldnt have left Tennessee. The lanky receiver helped breathe life into Detroits passing attack. He gave quarterback Jared Goff a familiar face, not to mention height downfield. In seven games, Reynolds caught 19 balls on 36 targets for 306 yards and two touchdowns. He averaged 8.5 yards per target, with 15 of his 19 catches moving the chains.
Id love to stick around, man, Reynolds said after the season. Going with Tennessee and stuff, it was just unfortunate kinda circumstances that happened with me or at the beginning of the season with some injuries and stuff that kinda held me back and guys doing their thing being able to go out and produce. It was a tough situation, but you know, just talking with family and my agent and stuff and God -- Im in the right spot.
Id love to be back with this team. Love the guys. Love the coaches. Love the front office. Its definitely where Id like to be.
The Lions havent been shy in their intentions to add to their receiver room. Receivers coach Antwaan Randle El said he wants to see two additions through the draft and one through free agency. Reynolds should be happy to be back, and he checks one box heading into free agency around these parts.
New offensive coordinator Ben Johnson recently detailed his vision for the teams offense while at the NFL combine. That vision? It needs a go-to, playmaking wide receiver to make it happen.
Its the one thing we looked at over the course of the last few weeks in our self-scout (that we were really missing), Johnson said during a chat with a small group of reporters on Tuesday at the combine. We feel like we attack the middle of the field very well. So the more we can expand both vertically and horizontally outside the numbers, and deep down the field, thats just going to make the guys on the inside of the field that much more dangerous.
Reynolds helps some of that at 6-foot-3, without question. Still, there is work to be done in that department. He caught 52 passes for 618 yards and two scores in his last full season with Goff in Los Angeles. The pair flashed some of that chemistry in Detroit, with this reunion making sense for all parties. The 27-year-old worked well with Amon-Ra St. Brown, stretching defenses over the middle, creating some space for the talented rookie.
Free agency opens in the coming weeks, and the draft is around the corner after that. Thanks to the franchise tag, the receiver free-agent market seems to shrink by the minute. The Lions could be in a good spot come April, though, with Picks 32 and 34 looking ripe for a receiver.
But I think the definition of it really is, as you said, a guy who can consistently win one-on-one, Johnson said. Whether thats a big guy, with a lot of strength and size, or whether thats a guy with elite quickness or speed. I think it comes a number of different ways. But thats what were looking for, is someone that outside the numbers predominantly, can win a one-on-one. And if hes good at his job, dictates coverage. So they recognize where he is at all times and start rolling (coverage) his way, which will open us up for the run game and everything else inside ... Thats really what we want.

608 US Air Force F-16s Are Getting The Type’s Largest Combined Upgrade Package Ever – The War Zone
Posted: at 10:37 pm
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center has announced that hundreds of the services F-16s will receive a comprehensive package of modifications and upgrades. The modifications are intended to keep the aircraft effective against modern and emerging threats and help keep it in the air for the remainder of its extended operational life.
Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Public Affairs announced the modification program this week in a press release, naming the project, which merges a number of new and existing upgrade and service life extension pipelines together, as Post Block Integration Team or PoBIT. The release states the modifications will improve the lethality of the nearly 50-year-old design and ensure the fourth-generation fighter remains effective in meeting current and future threats. The program will involve more than 18 USAF bases, multiple contractors, and will cost an estimated $6.3 billion over "several years." The service states that many of these upgrades have already begun.
608 F-16s from Blocks 40/42 and 50/52 the service's youngest F-16s will receive a total of 22 modifications under the program. Planned updates include the addition of a Center Display Unit, a Programmable Data Generator, and several other key hardware components to modernize the aircraft. In addition, the F-16 will receive the AN/APG-83 Active Electronically Scanned Array radar (AESA), new electronic warfare capabilities, advanced mission computer, and a communications suite upgrade that includes an updated Link-16 datalink capability. The USAF says this new communication system will convert the fleet to a high-speed data network.
Oryan OJ Joseph, program manager with the Life Cycle Management Centers F-16 Program Office, calls the program a massive effort and a big deal for the Air Force. Joseph says the package is a collision of mods that required careful planning in terms of when units will be able to make aircraft available for the modifications and which upgrades will be installed first. There are a lot of variables, a give and take tug of war that we deal with every day on bringing down aircraft [for modifications] at the right time.
1st Lt. Andrew Elledge, program manager for the USAFs F-16 Program Office, says that being able to keep the F-16 in the fight with the latest and greatest technology is the driving factor behind the massive project.
The Vipers new AESA radar system will allow the jet to detect and track targets at greater rangers and higher levels of precision, including targets at low altitudes or with small radar cross-sections and in dense electronic warfare combat environments. AESA radar systems were previously tested aboard Air National Guard F-16s in 2020. The Northrop Grumman AN/APG-83, also known as Scalable Agile Beam Radar, or SABR, is suited as a retrofit replacement for the jets current mechanically-scanned AN/APG-66/68 radar. The radar has been in use in Taiwans fleet of upgraded F-16Vs since 2017, and is found in new-production F-16C/D Block 70/72 aircraft. The USAF has also eyed the SABR radar for use aboard the B-52. SABR is already flying on a number of Air National Guard F-16s, including earlier Block 30 models, which you can read all about here.
While the USAFs press release does not specify which next-generation EW system will be installed as part of this modification package, the service has previously selected Northrop Grumman to develop a new electronic warfare suite offering advanced countermeasure capabilities for the F-16. Northrop Grummans vice president of navigation, targeting, and survivability. Ryan Tintner said that the suite will significantly increase protection to F-16 operators as they execute their missions in increasingly contested environments. The system includes full-spectrum radar detection and has been designed to be interoperable with the AN/APG-83 SABR radar. Northrop Grumman says the system can be integrated both internally or in a podded configuration.
Many of these modifications have already appeared separately in other blocks or production versions of F-16s. Rather than representing a whole new set of capabilities, this new program is somewhat of a consolidation of many upgrade initiatives into a single effort and a plan to systematically install these throughout the wider fleet of aging F-16s. Just managing such a large fleet that exists in various configurations while it is under transition is no small undertaking, especially without tanking combat capacity.
After previously canceling scheduled upgrades to allocate more funds towards the F-22 and F-35 stealth fighters in years past, the USAF is now looking to squeeze more operational life out of the F-16 with this massive modification project. Lockheed Martin, the company that makes the Viper, already announced a Service Life Extension Program in 2017 that would extend the flight hours of 300 F-16s from Blocks 40 through 52 and keep them combat-ready through 2048.
The addition of these modifications will no doubt help see more of the F-16 fleet remains operational and effective for decades to come and serves as yet another reminder of the value and relevance the F-16 continues to bring to the Air Force's arsenal.

#WhyIChoseEducation: ‘My Thing Has Always Been Helping Kids and Helping Adults Help Kids,’ Says Autumn Guin ’20PHD – NC State College of Education…
Posted: at 10:37 pm
I feel like I grew up in Poe Hall. Thats how Autumn Guin 20PHD describes her time spent as a student at NCState Universityand for good reason. Between earning her masters degree in community psychology and her Ph.D. in the Educational Leadership, Policy, and Human Developments Educational Research and Policy Analysis program area of study, Guin has spent plenty of time in Poe, taking classes as a student and teaching them as a graduate assistant.
Guin pursued her doctoral degree while also working full time for NCState Extension as a program design and evaluation extension associate. Its one of three job titles she now holds. Guin is also adjunct professor in NCStates Department of Agricultural and Human Sciences, as well as a Children, Youth, and Families at Risk (CYFAR) PDTA coach and evaluation consultant. But no matter what her position, Guins focus remains on education.
Im a Mexican-American, first-generation college student who did not get to have a traditional pathway and so, from a very, very young age, I knew that I was called into helping kids like me, whatever that looks like, Guin said.
Her decision to earn her Ph.D. was encouraged by Associate Professor Tamara Young, program coordinator for the Ph.D. in Educational Leadership, Policy, and Human Development Educational Evaluation and Policy Analysis program area of study.
Dr. Young did something that surprised me, Guin said. Instead of me coming to her to talk about the program, she came to see me in my office, which is the Brickhaven office on Beryl Road, out by the fairgrounds. She came to see me, and she sat in my office with me. And from day one, she was my advocate. She was in my corner, my cheerleader, just this amazing human who believed in me as a professional.
Guin, who pursued her doctorate while working full time and raising her two children, graduated in 2020. In 2021, she received the Susan Barkman Research and Evaluation Award for her dissertation, which focused on the way non-formal educators are taught STEM content. Guin was honored with the award during the 2021 North Carolina Association of Extension 4-H Youth Development Professionals Annual ConferenceNorth Carolina 4-H is part of NCState Extensionwhere she also received the Excellence in Healthy Living Programming Award. The award was recognition for her work with the Empowering Youth and Families program, a program that teaches better communication skills. Since then, she has also received the Research Friend of Extension Award for her work on that project.
For Guin, using her knowledge and skills to help kids is essential to following through on NCState Universitys land-grant mission.
It all comes from the land grant, because the land-grant mission is to take research and distill it down so that it goes to members of the general public, and kids happen to be a member of the general public, she said.
The following interview has been edited for length and clarity.
Why I Chose Education:
We talked about a spark in 4-H. Its our job in 4-H to help kids find their spark. Its that thing that they want to attack for the rest of their life. They want to be a part of that for the rest of their life.
A kid might take a class on honeybees and decide that is their lifes thing. Theyre going to advocate, theyre going to network, theyre going to do all the things around that. My thing is helping kids. My thing has always been helping kids and helping adults help kids.
Whenever I introduce myself, if Im in an evaluation space, I introduce myself as a program storyteller instead of as an evaluator. Because thats my job at the end of the day, is to tell the programs story. And I do that through words and numbers, but Im telling the story of the programs that we do with kids or how we teach educators to do the work with kids, which is what my specific little thing that I focused on is.
How Education Has Shaped Me:
It has opened doorways for me. When I was at Fayetteville State University, I had a professor who was my undergraduate advisor who invited me to be part of a research team. She taught psychology courses, and this research team was involved in studying the teaching effectiveness surveys on campus. I got to experience research, and I got trained to do focus groups. We worked on surveys; I did focus groups with students and with faculty. That was huge, that I can impact something simply by having conversations with people or asking them questions.
While I was in the psychology department at NCState, I had a professor who was an advisor, Dr. Amy Halberstadt, who really poured into my writing and really tore apart my writing and made me a stronger writer, same with Dr. Chad Hoggan. As much as I want to say that education impacted where I am, its more the people in education and the relationships across all of that time that helped to get me where I am. Its really all about the relationships.
What I Enjoyed Most About Being Part of the NCState College of Education:
I really enjoyed some of the outside-of-the-norm activities. I got to work with Dr. Anna Egalite to do some focus group work during the Education Action Summit, Disrupting Poverty: Initiating Collective Impact in Education.
Getting to be a part of that, getting to help with focus group research and just being trusted with hands-on things, I think thats a really important part of that process. Its important to have professors that come beside you and grow you simply by being in a relationship and trusting you to do things.
We did something similar as a part of a project when I was a graduate student in ED 731: Advanced Qualitative Research and Data Analysis in Education with Dr. Megan Manfra. The new, at the time, Talley Student Union had just opened, and so we went over, and we did some observation, and we talked to people about their experiences and how they were using the space. But thats not normal, thats kind of outside the bounds of typical classroom activities.
What Others Should Know About the NCState College of Education:
There are so many out-of-the-box kinds of opportunities provided by really exceptional faculty who care about their students as human beings, instead of just, Here you are, youre one more person in my class. Professors took time to actually care about their students.
The Last Thing I Experienced That Inspired Me:
I am sitting in the middle of the woods, and last night we got to have a conversation with 4-H educators in person, and the night before that we got to have a front porch conversation about things that they need.
Hearing from them, the value of the relationship and an appreciation of the work that the team is doing to one, keep them going in the middle of COVID, and two, as we come out of that, to still be here as a supportive group, to make sure that they are getting what they need to reach kids. Thats it. At the end of the day, for me, its about the kids and the families, period. Just really being here and getting to do what I loveI build relationships; I teach people; I empower peoplethats my whole job. Thats a cool job.

Posted: at 10:37 pm
MILLERSBURG - An event designed by women to promote and support women in agriculture continues to grow and thrive.
The Ohio State University (OSU) Extension will host the seventh annual East Ohio Women in Agriculture Conference on Friday, March 25, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Ohio FFA Camp Muskingum, 3266 Dyewood Road SW, Carrollton, OH 44615.
A team of OSU Extension Educators from Holmes, Wayne, Tuscarawas, Coshocton, Stark, Carroll and Harrison counties will be presenting.
The event is open to all women high school age and older who are interested, involved in or want to become involved with food, agricultural, natural resources production or small business are encouraged to attend.
Kate Shumaker, OSU Extension Holmes County educator, said this program has been ongoing, starting in Northwest Ohio about 20 years ago.
"A group of female ag educators decided to get together and try doing it here in Eastern Ohio," Shumaker said. "Our first conference was held at Kent State Tuscarawas. It was small, but successful. We quickly outgrew our space and moved to RG Drage Career Center in Massillon. This year we decided to try something different, leading us to the 4-H Day Camp."
Shumaker said the conference specifically targets women.
"Agriculture can be a male-focused environment," she said. "Whether or not they're out front and visible on the farm, women are very much involved in farm life from day-to-day operations to taking care of the books or communications and human resources. We focus on things they may be involved in.
"Our presentations have addressed many different topics over the years, that not only deal with the business side of things, but the home side of things on the farm as well," she continued. "The ladies juggle families and farm, life and relationships, parenting and getting dinner on the table. The sessions include relief and laughter, along with business. They're learning, but they are also having a day that is just theirs."
The conference program features a networking fair and 16 breakout sessions presented by OSU Extension educators, producers and partner agencies. Sessions this year are focused around four themes: natural resources, plants and animals, home and family, and special interest (includes break-out with Ohio FFA state officers).
Sample sessions from each theme include:

Australian Space Agency charged with developing the nation’s unified space strategy – ZDNet
Posted: at 10:37 pm
The Australian Space Agency has been tasked to develop what the federal government is referring to as a unified national space strategy to shape the sector for the next two decades and beyond.
Minister for Science and Technology Melissa Price said development of the Space Strategic Update comes off the back of industry feedback that Australia needs better alignment efforts in the space sector.
"Through the Space Strategic Update, we will maximise investment and efforts to deliver for all Australians," she said.
The Australian Space Agency is expected to work with industry and government over the next 18 months to deliver the Space Strategic Update.
When completed, the update is anticipated to provide a schedule of space programs and investment opportunities for government, as well as plans for other areas of coordination.
"We will enhance coordination of investments and strategies, whether that's across states and territories, across government or between our science, civil and defence activities," head of the Australian Space Agency Enrico Palermo said
"Likewise we must ensure we have internationally competitive regulation that supports industry growth and entrepreneurship while ensuring public safety."
Just last week, Australia National University vice-chancellor and Nobel-prize winner Brain Schmidt said that greater collaboration between local universities will be necessary to helpAustralia build its sovereign space capabilities.
"Each of us need to work as part of the 'Team Australia' ecosystem. [A] fragmented approach, which I'm afraid that is sort of the natural state of universities, is both inefficient and doesn't scale up," he said.
On top of the Space Strategic Update, Price announced there are no longer plans to introduce space launch application fees, which would have been imposed on businesses conducting domestic launch activities. The introduction of the partial cost-recovery model has been deferred twice since it was first proposed as part of the Mid-Year Economic and Fiscal Outlook 2019-20.
"Instead of allowing cost recovery to come into effect, or deferring it again -- we're abolishing launch permit application fees entirely," Price said.
"We've taken this decision to provide you with the certainty you need to invest, and to help our small and medium-sized space businesses continue to grow."
In addition, South Australia's dedicated space manufacturing hub has been handed another AU$20 million from the federal government to help get the project off the ground.
The AU$20 million contribution is in addition to the AU$20 million the South Australian government has already committed towards the AU$66 million project.
The hub is being developed by the South Australian government in partnership with a consortium of space manufacturing companies -- Fleet Space Technologies, Q-CTRL, ATSpace, and Alauda Aeronautics.
All four companies will collocate in the facility to collaborate and produce small satellites, rockets, electrical vertical take-off and land vehicles, and support componentry and technical systems. The Australian Space Park will be located at Adelaide Airport.
"This is a huge opportunity for Australia. Our space businesses are already globally-recognised but these investments are about driving their potential to scale up and create more high-value jobs for Australians," Minister for Industry, Energy and Emissions Reduction Angus Taylor said.
"Not only will this investment in South Australia help grow our space sector, it will foster the next generation of space manufacturers and researchers."
This latest investment by the federal government is in addition to the AU$65 million that was announced last week to help "fast track" Australia's space sector.
The federal government has so far committed more than AU$850 million into building Australia's space capabilities since 2018 as part of its "mission to triple the size of the sector and create up to 20,000 new jobs by 2030". This goal was set out under theAustralian Civil Space Strategy.
Also on Thursday, Optus announced that it will utilise SpaceLogistics' mission robotic vehicle (MRV) and mission extension pod (MEP) to extend the life of its D3 satellite in orbit for up to six years.
The MRV, a spacecraft that is capable of robotically servicing multiple satellites in orbit, including the installation of a MEP, will be launched by SpaceX in 2024.
"The sophisticated robotics of the MRV will provide Optus the ability to attach the MEP to D3 which is effectively a fuel tank that extends geostationary life. Once onboarded, the MEP will augment the propulsion system of Optus' D3 satellite, providing an additional six years of life extension," Optus said.

Benefits of being alone: The beauty of being there for yourself, check it out – IWMBuzz
Posted: at 10:37 pm
Solitude has a poor reputation. Experts praise the benefits of social connectivity, which have been linked to enhanced immunity, stress resilience, and even life extension. Being alone, on the other hand, is frequently mistaken for loneliness. Social isolation and loneliness have been connected to an increased risk of heart disease, obesity, anxiety, depression, Alzheimers disease, high blood pressure, and even early death, according to research.
However, it is demonstrating that finding things to do by oneself has actual benefits. You can do activities you enjoy at your own pace and in your own way when you do things by yourself. You learn better about yourself and contemplate your experiences through solitary pursuits.
Finding activities to like on your own may seem tough at first if you are naturally drawn to other people. Including some quiet moments where you may be alone can have a variety of advantages, especially if you are always on the go and find it difficult to slow down and take pauses.
Some things you might want to try:
Take yourself out for dinner
Dining out is frequently thought of as a social event, yet treating oneself to a beautiful dinner allows you to unwind and enjoy the experience alone.
Go for the movies alone
You dont spend much time chatting in the middle of a movie, but being with other people means you can be sidetracked by wondering what they think of it and what they might say later.
When you watch a movie alone, you can concentrate entirely on the tale and images in front of you, rather than worrying about what your friends might think.
Go to your favorite musicians concert
Not only will you be able to see your favorite artists without having to worry about finding companions, but attending a concert alone can also be a terrific chance to meet new people with similar interests. Even if youre doing something on your own, it can help you expand your social network.
Go for a hike
Spending time in nature can be beneficial to your health, but finding individuals who want to go might be difficult. Going alone can allow you to bond with nature, test your body, and enjoy some quiet time.
Nature has been demonstrated to provide a variety of psychological advantages, ranging from restoring focus to reducing stress, according to previous research.
Travel
Traveling and vacationing alone might be daunting, but it can also be an exciting and gratifying way to test yourself and discover new things. Traveling alone is a fantastic method to develop independence and confidence.

CALS cuts dorm-living, credits from 136-year-old agriculture program – The Badger Herald
Posted: at 10:37 pm
The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences announced last Wednesday they will make significant changes to the 136-year-old Farm and Industry Short Course program. The program will go from being a 16-week, residential, for-credit course to a non-credit, blended learning program.
These changes will create more flexibility for the faculty and students in the program, CALS Associate Dean for Extension and Outreach Doug Reinemann said. But, some agriculture students and organizations have said the changes will hurt the FISC students in the long run.
Wisconsin Farm Bureau President Kevin Krentz spoke out against CALS changes in a press release, saying CALS failed to consult with stakeholders when planning the changes.
We are disturbed about the dismantling of the current structure of the Farm & Industry Short Course, Krentz said. We are truly disappointed in the missed opportunities to engage stakeholders prior to these changes being made and expect more from a such a prestigious agricultural university.

The primary reason CALS altered the FISC program was because FISC enrollment had been dropping since 2016, Reinemann said. The programs original 16-week model made it difficult for students and instructors to participate because they were needed on the farms and agribusinesses they work for or own, Reinemann said.
The new model will offer students more flexibility and better reflect the evolving field of agriculture, Reinemann said.
Former FISC student Billy Zeimet said in an email to The Badger Herald that CALS didnt try hard enough to involve students in the decision-making process. Zeimet said CALS shouldnt essentially shut down the FISC program because fewer farmers are applying for it.
Zeimet also said living in dorms was an important part of his time as a FISC student.
Having the time to interact with your peers and learn how they operate their farms is an invaluable experience that cannot be had when students must commute to campus, Zeimet said.
Reinemann said the administration is currently looking at options when it comes to maintaining the close-knit community that the old FISC model created.

We hear loud and clear that students value [the residential experience], and we do too, Reinemann said.
CALS understands that some current students and alumni will be saddened to see the old program structure go, Reinemann said. CALS is still exploring some aspects of the new model, such as maintaining a cohort experience, Reinemann said.
Though CALS welcomes feedback on the changes FISC, the school is confident that these changes will be best for the program in the long run, Reinemann said.
Other stakeholders, such as Zeimet, said they believed otherwise.
The changes being made to the FISC program will be detrimental and I do not believe the program will continue to have near the same impact on the agriculture industry that it has for the past 136 years, Zeimet said.

Luxy Hair Launches Their First-Ever Line of Gray Hair Extensions – Mane Addicts
Posted: at 10:37 pm
Luxy Hair has long been one of our favorite hair extension brands, namely for their innovation and progressiveness. And, theyve done it again. The company just launched their first-ever line of gray hair extensions. With more and more women choosing to go gray, these extensions came at the perfect time.
Designed to empower women to embrace their grays, the launch coincides with International Womens Day (aka today, March 8)and that isnt a coincidence. We are doing so in tandem with International Womens Day in support of this years theme, #BreaktheBias. As women age, they are made to feel like a depreciating asset. We are here to celebrate discovery at any age and champion going gray as a badge of honor, shares Luxy Hair president Amy Sveda.
Luxy Hair has also partnered with Catalyst, a global non-profit founded in 1962 that works with over 800 companies around the world to accelerate women into leadership, for an additional International Womens Day initiative. The company will be donating 10% of all sales sitewide to the non-profit.
Below, Mane Addicts spoke with Amy to learn more about the line of gray hair extensions and their partnership with Catalyst for International Womens Day. Keep scrolling to read our exclusive interview!
Amy Sveda: Our product launch innovation is fundamentally driven by our desire to better serve our customers. Not only did we see a need in the market for gray hair extensions, but we also heard from our customersparticularly those that made a conscious decision to forgo dyeing their hair through the pandemicthat they were looking to us to provide a solution for them.
AS: Honestly, the process was not entirely dissimilar to our research and development for all hair colors and products. We conduct extensive research to understand the most common shades, solicit feedback from our internal/external community, and ensure our sourcing partners are executing to the right balance of color, level of warmth or coolness in tone, and desired style variations. With our gray shades, they are salt and pepper in nature, so ensuring accurate percentages of each color contribution is key.
AS: Customers are able to leverage either our AI Virtual Color Match Tool that allows them to take a photo in real-time or upload an existing image. The tool will provide them with their ideal match instantaneously, or they may reach out to our best-in-class customer experience team who is happy to assist them.
AS: This is our first foray into shades of gray and I anticipate we will learn a great deal in the first few weeks of the launch. We know that our two shades, while the most common, will not suit everyone. We will certainly be reacting to our learnings to ensure we are catering to the needs of our expanding community.
AS: The two shades that we are offering in all of our style options (Classic, Seamless, Halo, Ponytail, Bun) and length variations is the broadest offering of style/color combinations in the market, particularly in the DIY space. We hope that the industry continues to recognize the importance of inclusivity and that true beauty is not defined by antiquated norms.
AS: We want to be a solution provider for anyone looking to make themselves feel better about their hair, boost their overall confidence, leverage their hair as a form of self-expressionfor anyone that views extensions as a form of self-care.
AS: Luxy Hair is an organization whose entire team is comprised of incredibly talented women who are socially conscious and believe in taking action to improve the lives of others. Catalyst has dedicated over 50 years to the advancement of gender equality and equal opportunities for marginalized groups, particularly in the workforce. In support of the theme for this years International Womens Day, Break the Bias, we aim to celebrate age and reinforce that aging is not considered depreciation, but rather an appreciation of experience, wisdom, thought of life. Ageism in the workplace is real and requires advocacy to, again, Break the Bias.
