Before the first genecect was completely into the #39; #39;coma #39; #39; that would keep it from going mad with power, the machine started, giving it the power before it could handle it.the genecect was so overwhelmed with power that it broke away from the machine that was giving it the data. Five-Year Genome Study At DNA Diagnostics Yields Evidence of Homo sapiens/Unknown Hominin Hybrid Species in North America

Dallas, TX (PRWEB) November 24, 2012

The study was conducted by a team of experts in genetics, forensics, imaging and pathology, led by Dr. Melba S. Ketchum of Nacogdoches, TX. In response to recent interest in the study, Dr. Ketchum can confirm that her team has sequenced 3 complete Sasquatch nuclear genomes and determined the species is a human hybrid:

Our study has sequenced 20 whole mitochondrial genomes and utilized next generation sequencing to obtain 3 whole nuclear genomes from purported Sasquatch samples. The genome sequencing shows that Sasquatch mtDNA is identical to modern Homo sapiens, but Sasquatch nuDNA is a novel, unknown hominin related to Homo sapiens and other primate species. Our data indicate that the North American Sasquatch is a hybrid species, the result of males of an unknown hominin species crossing with female Homo sapiens.

Hominins are members of the taxonomic grouping Hominini, which includes all members of the genus Homo. Genetic testing has already ruled out Homo neanderthalis and the Denisova hominin as contributors to Sasquatch mtDNA or nuDNA. The male progenitor that contributed the unknown sequence to this hybrid is unique as its DNA is more distantly removed from humans than other recently discovered hominins like the Denisovan individual, explains Ketchum.

Sasquatch nuclear DNA is incredibly novel and not at all what we had expected. While it has human nuclear DNA within its genome, there are also distinctly non-human, non-archaic hominin, and non-ape sequences. We describe it as a mosaic of human and novel non-human sequence. Further study is needed and is ongoing to better characterize and understand Sasquatch nuclear DNA.

Ketchum is a veterinarian whose professional experience includes 27 years of research in genetics, including forensics. Early in her career she also practiced veterinary medicine, and she has previously been published as a participant in mapping the equine genome. She began testing the DNA of purported Sasquatch hair samples 5 years ago.

Ketchum calls on public officials and law enforcement to immediately recognize the Sasquatch as an indigenous people:

Genetically, the Sasquatch are a human hybrid with unambiguously modern human maternal ancestry. Government at all levels must recognize them as an indigenous people and immediately protect their human and Constitutional rights against those who would see in their physical and cultural differences a license to hunt, trap, or kill them.

'Bigfoot' DNA Sequenced In Upcoming Genetics Study

Guwahati, Nov. 22: The Nagaon district administration has identified five women for conducting DNA tests to ascertain the paternity of the stillborn found in a litterbin near Bhogeshwari Phookanani civil hospital in Nagaon town on Saturday.

This was disclosed today by a two-member investigating team, comprising Rajeswar Sharma and Adil Shah, of the Assam State Commission for Protection of Child Rights.

The body was spotted in the bin near the hospital gate that is hardly 50 metres from the maternity ward when people noticed a few stray dogs rummaging through the dustbin and tugging at a body wrapped inside a plastic bag.

Though it is suspected that someone from the hospital might have dumped the stillborn in the dustbin, the hospital authorities claimed that the body was not of any baby born in the hospital.

Some attendants of patients admitted to the hospital alleged that illegal abortions were conducted there.

Sharma said it was too early to draw any conclusion as the inquiry was in the initial stage. "It will take some time to complete the probe after which we will submit a report to the state government."

He said DNA samples of the stillborn would be matched with the DNA profiles of the women for clues on the baby's parents and that Nagaon deputy commissioner Pratibandla Ashok Babu was making necessary arrangements for the tests.

Shah said the administration had already identified five women who had delivered babies at the hospital that day. "The deputy commissioner has taken the addresses of these five women from the hospital and asked the police to contact them. If any one or more among these five women are found to have delivered a stillborn girl at the civil hospital on that particular day, they will be called for DNA profiling," he added.

He refused to give further details as the matter is under investigation.

An official source said the two-member team of Sharma and Shah had visited Nagaon on Monday to conduct a preliminary inquiry into the matter. They interacted with the Nagaon deputy commissioner, superintendent of police Vivek Raj Singh, officials of health and social welfare departments, doctors and other staff of the hospital.

DNA to trace parents of dumped stillborn

A Somerville man imprisoned for a quarter of a century could be freed soon after a Middlesex Superior Court judge ruled DNA testing supports his claim he did not participate in a 1986 murder, a brutal attack that left the victim to die slowly in the parking lot of an abandoned supermarket.

He is ecstatic, said Boston lawyer Dana Curhan, who has served as Michael J. Sullivans appellate attorney since 1991 through the Committee for Public Counsel Services Innocence Program.

Sullivan was convicted of firstdegree murder in the death of 54-year-old Wilfred McGrath, who was lured to an East Cambridge apartment, where he was robbed of jewelry, money, and cocaine. Beaten but still alive, McGrath was wrapped in a blanket and dumped behind an abandoned supermarket, where his body was found in March 1986, according to court records.

The key prosecution witness was Gary Grace, who had murder charges dropped in return for testifying against Sullivan, records show. Grace testified that Sullivan was wearing a purple jacket at the time of the killing. a State Police chemist testified that blood found on the sleeve of the jacket and hair found in the pocket belonged to McGrath.

But Middlesex Superior Court Judge Kathe M. Tuttman, in an 35-page ruling released Nov. 15, concluded that Sullivan deserves a new trial because DNA testing shows that neither the blood nor the hair belonged to McGrath.

The Commonwealth presented this blood and hair evidence to the jury as corroboration of Graces version of the incident, and, consequently as a link between the defendant [Sullivan] and the victims murder, Tuttman wrote.

But the new evidence that eliminates the victim as the source of the hair and the DNA found on the jacket cuffs also eliminates this link between the defendant and the murder, thus supporting the defendant's theory that he was not present at the time of the murder.

Tuttman then ordered a new trial for Sullivan, who faced the prospect of dying behind bars because his earlier appeals of the first-degree murder conviction which carries life imprisonment without the possibility of parole have been rejected by federal courts and by Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.

With this newly available evidence, the defendant has cast real doubt on the justice of his conviction, and he is entitled to a new trial, Tuttman wrote.
