Everyone knows the NFL has tilted the field in favor of the offense since it liberalized the passing rules in the late 1970s and then decided it needed to \"reinforce\" the five-yard chuck rule after Bill Polian complained after the Patriots mugged his Colts throughout a playoff game. (Too much?) <\/p>\n
Clearly, this is a broad topic that could go on for days. The teams mentioned above are really just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the great offensive displays the league has produced throughout its history. <\/p>\n
