Former presidential candidate Ron Paul will return to Iowa a day before the caucuses to campaign for his son. <\/p>\n
Ron and Rand Paul will host a \"The Revolution Continues Rally\" at the University of Iowa on Jan. 31. The younger Paul is a Kentucky senator who is running for theRepublican presidential nomination. <\/p>\n
It will be the first time Ron Paul has appeared on the campaign trail to stump for his son this cycle. <\/p>\n
The event will be held at 7 p.m. at the Iowa Memorial Union,125 N.Madison St., in Iowa City. <\/p>\n
Ron Paul is a former Texas congressman who ran for president three times. He was thepresidential nominee of theLibertarian Partyin1988. <\/p>\n
In addition to his father, Rand will be joined bymore than a dozen family members who will host their own events throughout the state and speak at caucuses on Feb. 1, his campaign said. More details are expected to be released soon. <\/p>\n
