Freedom Home Care is proud of the continued excellence provided by their Caregivers on a daily basis. In order to support and celebrate their progressive and instrumental achievement, Freedom Home Care is hosting a 2nd Annual Caregiver Appreciation Day. <\/p>\n
This celebratory event is set for Friday, August 3rd, and will feature multiple levels surrounding Freedom Home Care. Caregivers can look forward to getting training credit in a fun and interactive way, as well as experiencing personal growth and camaraderie. <\/p>\n
For the first time, Caregiver Appreciation Day will feature guest speakers. Attendees will be able to engage in important discussions surrounding Accuchecks, Vital Sign Management, and Diet Management. <\/p>\n
Caregiver Appreciation Day will cover many essential and practical techniques to help sharpen the skill working with older patients. Learning how to identify warning signs when working with older adults will be explained. This will be reviewed along with understanding depression and dementia in older patients, and in doing so, communicating effectively with them. In addition, Caregivers will learn successful interviewing skills. <\/p>\n
This extraordinary celebration offers a unique opportunity for Caregivers to interact with each other. Typically, Caregivers work primarily on a one-on-one basis with a particular client. At Caregiver Appreciation Day, staff members can connect with co-employees and management, some of who they would normally never meet. <\/p>\n
The celebration will conclude with an announcement of the three winners of Caregiver of the Year. These highly touted and well deserved awards are based on submissions from clients and the Freedom Home Car management team. <\/p>\n
