Every gamer out there knows that Cyberpunk 2077 is going to take the gaming world by storm. It is one of a kind project that has accumulated a massive fan following. But what if a big name wants to rival the project? That seems to be just the case with Tencent. The videogame company have announced their own game in the cyberpunk genre, code-named SYN. Tencent is developing an open-world FPS much similar to the most-anticipated Cyberpunk 2077. The announcement was made at their annual conference on June 27. The project named SYN hasnt disclosed many details.<\/p>\n
The game will be developed by Lightspeed and Quantum Studios; the same studios who were behind the PUBG mobile port. The 3-minute video showcased many stunning visuals from the game.<\/p>\n
Much like Cyberpunk, SYN will also feature top levels of character customization. However, the video showcased no info on gameplay.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
In addition to robot-like characters, you also get cyberpets. Pets do not mean dogs or cats, as the trailer showcased animals like a bear and a leopard. They had heavy armor on them, and it looks like they are capable of heavy damage. The pets too are customizable; looks and traits.<\/p>\n
Cyber pets are likely to be the players aid throughout the game. It is unclear if these pets could be used as a ride. You can however take vehicles and customize them. The game also has three factions Enforcer, Anarchy, and Motorheads.<\/p>\n
The game has been rendered by Unreal Engine and Epic Games will be assisting the team.<\/p>\n
Our characters are realistic, yet stylish, with various customization features including cosmetics, skins, and extremely realistic effects achieved with our strand-based hair system through cooperation with Epic Games<\/p>\n
The game does not have an official release date as of yet. SYN is set to launch for both PC and Consoles.<\/p>\n
