US Chess will be facing off against the Irish Chess Union in an international friendly match of nations! The two countries plan to square off Saturday, June 27th at 1pm US Eastern time on chess.com.<\/p>\n
Both teams will feature 12 players of roughly equal rating strength. The match format is a four game rapid match followed by a blitz playoff, should the score be tied, followed by an Armageddon game. The winning team will be the team that scores the most match points.<\/p>\n
