Chi Mai, director ofS-kin Studio, has givenInStyleher expert advice on building the perfect necklace stack. Her golden rule is to always pair different lengths, starting with a feature piece and building around it, or starting with the shortest and adding piece-by-piece from there.<\/p>\n
\"Having a two-inch difference between the length of each layer is key so each piece can work as a collective,\" she says. \"While still giving space for the feature pieces to stand on their own. Two-piece stacks are the simplest to begin with, with mid-length combinations working well with a low neckline or hanging over a tee.\"<\/p>\n
