The airport is so damaged that they're still working out of a tent.<\/p>\n<p>There are no commercial flights, and the only way to get to the island is by private plane or boat.<\/p>\n<p>Residents are still trying to piece their lives back together.<\/p>\n<p>\"When we looked outside, we were already surrounded by water,\" said Dillis Greene. <\/p>\n<p>There are thousands of people like Greene whose home was completely flooded.<\/p>\n<p>She and her family tried to escape when the water came in, but they had to be rescued.<\/p>\n<p>\"We started out in the car but the water was so high that it started to engulf us in the car. Some guys were behind us in a big dump truck.
