COLUMBIA For the eighth consecutive year, Orangeburg's C.F. Evans and Company Inc. has been named one of the Best Places to Work in South Carolina bythe South Carolina Chamber of Commerce. <\/p>\n
The construction management firm is among the 70 companies earning the distinction for 2017. <\/p>\n
Awards for each honoree will be presented at an annual banquet, presented by Colonial Life, on Aug. 3 at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center. <\/p>\n
Clarence F. Evans founded C.F. Evans in 1948. In 1986, his son, Johnny Evans, took on leadership of the company. <\/p>\n
During his tenure, the companys portfolio of multifamily housing, senior living, commercial and industrial and special projects has continued. <\/p>\n
C.F. Evans works primarily in the Southeastern United States and has worked on a number of projects across the state. Projects have included multifamily housing, student housing, special-needs housing, senior living, commercial\/industrial, health care, retail, educational, financial and worship. <\/p>\n
The company, which employs about 70, has earned statewide and national recognition. <\/p>\n
