The Freedom remain the only undefeated team in the Frontier League. <\/p>\n
Ryan Lashley hit an RBI single to give the Miners a 1-0 edge in the fourth inning. But it was downhill from there for Southern Illinois. <\/p>\n
Florence bounced back and scored four runs in the fifth inning, which was highlighted by a two-run homer from Goldbold. The Freedom grabbed a 4-1 advantage. <\/p>\n
The Miners scored a run in the seventh inning on a sacrifice fly from Lashley. But Southern Illinois was only able to amass four hits in the ball game. <\/p>\n
Jordan Kraus pitched seven innings and allowed two runs for Florence. Zach Cooper threw four-plus innings allowing four runs for Southern Illinois. <\/p>\n
The teams play a double header today, which begins at 4:35 p.m. <\/p>\n
