I feel revulsion as I continue hearing politicians say they are pro-Second Amendment. As if to say unfettered gun ownership is a constitutional right. <\/p>\n
The Second Amendment states, a well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. <\/p>\n
I am quite certain that in our country citizen gun ownership is not well regulated. In the presence of regulations, people behave differently. <\/p>\n
They are held to account when they fail to follow the regulations. So, please, spare me the pro-Second Amendment drivel unless you are going to include the entirety of the amendment and not just the part that helps get you elected. <\/p>\n
My Second Amendment rights are being violated. <\/p>\n
