As of June 2016, The Zeitgeist Movement is now an official 501c3 non-profit, tax exempt entity. As has been suggested for years, this new aspect of TZM has been created to assist core administrative tasks and costs, allowing for greater project development.<\/p>\n

https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=gdcH2yMeK3A<\/a> <\/p>\n After 8 years of conducting core, global programs without any external financial support or solicitation of donations, the growth of TZM and its technical needs have now created limitations that we can only overcome through access to more resources and time. Funding will assist this improved progress. <\/p>\n Needless to say, this has been a difficult decision given the values of TZM. However, this tax exempt status gives TZM much more flexibility, while those who do wish to support TZM's mission through financial contribution will be enabling a new level of performance and efficiency in operations. All donations are tax deductible (in the U.S.) and the legally required board of directors will report the allocation of funds at the end of each year for transparency. This board of directors is currently comprised of core, longstanding members of the Los Angeles, California Chapter. The board itself are volunteers and do not take a salary. <\/p>\n It is time TZM steps up to a new level of influence and activity.
