A heavy rain watch has been issued by MetService for the Bay of Plenty from Edgecumbe westwards. <\/p>\n
Periods of heavy rain are forecast, and rainfall amounts may approach warning criteria. Thunderstorms are possible. <\/p>\n
\"Note, rain is expected to continue during the remainder of Sunday, and the Watch may be extended,\" says a MetService spokesperson. <\/p>\n
