We live in a land<\/p>\n
Where the Liberal brand<\/p>\n
Is now toxic beyond all redemption.<\/p>\n
But they might stand a chance<\/p>\n
If they'd just cast a glance<\/p>\n
At the option of group introspection.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
For no leadership change<\/p>\n
Or attempts to exchange<\/p>\n
Their image for something electable,<\/p>\n
Will turn voters' minds<\/p>\n
From their multiple crimes;<\/p>\n
Thousands dead at their hands deemed detestable.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
And there is no way back<\/p>\n
For the Liberal hacks<\/p>\n
Who would lurch further Right,<\/p>\n
Far away from the light to where demons give fright <\/p>\n
That will only result in more failure.<\/p>\n
'cause that GOP schtick<\/p>\n
With attached MAGA hicks<\/p>\n
Is not gonna work in Australia.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Are the Liberals doomed?<\/p>\n
We can only assume<\/p>\n
That there's no moral change<\/p>\n
Coming anytime soon,<\/p>\n
While they cling to collective delirium.<\/p>\n
We can only but hope<\/p>\n
They'll take Barney the dope<\/p>\n
On their slide down the slope to oblivion.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
