Authorities in the Bahamas relaxed the country's COVID-19-related international travel restrictions and domestic measures Sept. 26. Travellers are no longer required to submit pre-travel COVID-19 tests, regardless of vaccination status. Visitors who show signs of COVID-19 symptoms are required to take a PCR test; those who test positive are required to isolate for 5-14 days. Unvaccinated visitors will be required to submit a daily health questionnaire throughout their stay. Capacity limits for events are no longer in place.<\/p>\n
Effective Oct. 1, facemasks will only be required in medical settings and schools.<\/p>\n
Current Domestic MeasuresUntil Oct. 1, officials require individuals to wear facemasks in most indoor public places. <\/p>\n
Authorities could reimpose, extend, further ease, or otherwise amend any restrictions with little-to-no notice depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.<\/p>\n
