Nick baumgartner is the oldest Olympian on team USA and one gold during the mixed team snowboard cross with partner lindsey Jacobellis, he became the oldest american to medal at an olympic games, he told ESPN you're never too late to take what you want from life, But he is almost 10 years younger than the oldest Olympian, Germany's Claudia Pechstein, the 49 year old speedskater turns 50, just two days after the Olympics end. The youngest Olympian to compete is the Czech Republic ski jumper and a Zika Indra cova. She is just 15 years old. She did not medal, but it is clear from these other olympians, but that she still has plenty of years ahead to compete.<\/p>\n
