On Wednesday, 23 February 2022, the NATO Secretary General, Mr. Jens Stoltenberg, and the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mr. Mark Rutte, will open a seminar on NATOs future Strategic Concept, titled Stronger Together NATOs Partnerships in the Hague. <\/p>\n
The event is hosted by the Netherlands and Germany and co-sponsored by Canada, Italy, Portugal, and Spain, together with Finland and Sweden. This is the third of four Allied-hosted seminars that inform the preparation of NATOs next Strategic Concept.<\/p>\n
The Secretary General and Prime Minister will deliver speeches and answer questions from an audience of foreign policy practitioners and students.<\/p>\n
The seminar will continue with a session of in-depth discussions among experts, including former NATO Secretary General Mr. Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, the Director of the Transatlantic Defense and Security Center for European Policy Analysis Ms. Lauren Speranza, the Director and Senior Fellowof the Macdonald Laurier Institute Mr. Jonathan Berkshire Miller, and the Chair of the Strategic Initiatives Department at the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies Ms. Valbona Zeneli.<\/p>\n
