GEISMAR, La. (BRPROUD) Two have been arrested in connection to a series of October vehicle burglaries within Ascension Parish.<\/p>\n
Ascension Parish Sheriffs Office deputies arrested Eric Troquille, 36, of Gonzales and Natalie Gremillion, 29, of Hessmer on Monday. <\/p>\n
According to APSO, deputies responded to vehicle burglaries at two different businesses on Hwy 75 on Oct. 14 and Oct. 17. Handguns were allegedly stolen from vehicles on these dates. <\/p>\n
On Oct. 30, deputies responded to a suspected vehicle burglary on Ashland Road where a security guard told authorities that a male allegedly pointed a firearm at him before running into the woods. <\/p>\n
Troquille faces charges of 17 counts of simple burglary, theft of a motor vehicle, four counts of theft $1,000, 10 counts of theft of a firearm, five counts theft less than $1,000, seven counts of criminal trespass, aggravated assault with a firearm and attempted burglary.<\/p>\n
Gremillionfaces charges of illegal possession of stolen things and theft. <\/p>\n
