Space Innovation and Growth Strategy launched<\/strong><\/span> <\/p>

In July 2009, Minister for Science<\/span> Lord Drayson<\/span> tasked Government, industry and academia to develop a 20-year vision to grow the UK’s share of the global space market<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>

The Space Innovation<\/a> and Growth Team<\/span>’s (Space IGT<\/span>) findings were announced at an event at the QEII centre entitled “The Space Innovation and Growth Strategy: A 20 year vision for the UK Space Sector<\/span>”<\/span><\/p>

The event took place between 10:00 and 14:00 on 10th February 2010 and 250 delegates from industry, academia, government and press attended.<\/span><\/p>
