{"id":88430,"date":"2013-09-13T03:41:05","date_gmt":"2013-09-13T07:41:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.euvolution.com\/futurist-transhuman-news-blog\/uncategorized\/new-england-astronomy-festival-in-durham.php"},"modified":"2013-09-13T03:41:05","modified_gmt":"2013-09-13T07:41:05","slug":"new-england-astronomy-festival-in-durham","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.euvolution.com\/futurist-transhuman-news-blog\/astronomy\/new-england-astronomy-festival-in-durham.php","title":{"rendered":"New England Astronomy Festival in Durham"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><p>    DURHAM  The New England    Fall Astronomy Festival is out of this world, literally.  <\/p>\n<p>    The event, to run Friday, Sept. 13, from 6 to midnight and    Saturday, Sept. 14, from 10 a.m. to midnight at the University    of New Hampshire Observatory, will give families a closer look    at a galaxy of events.<\/p>\n<p>    Hosted by the UNH Physics Department in partnership with    the New Hampshire Astronomical Society, the festival is geared    engaging and inspiring the next generation of scientists and    researchers in STEM disciplines.<\/p>\n<p>    History of science author Dava Sobel will speak about her    newest book, \"A More Perfect Heaven: How Copernicus    Revolutionized the Cosmos,\" and answer questions.  <\/p>\n<p>    Visitors are invited to watch the night skies through dozens of    telescopes late into the night Friday.
