CHARLOTTE, N.C., July 2, 2013 \/PRNewswire\/ -- UTC Aerospace Systems has signed a long-term agreement with Singapore Technologies Aerospace Ltd. (ST Aerospace) to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner nacelle systems for both the Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 and General Electric GEnx engines. The agreement enables ST Aerospace to offer a comprehensive range of nacelle MRO services using UTC Aerospace Systems' repair processes for customers worldwide. <\/p>\n
ST Aerospace will invest in a wide range of repair and overhaul capabilities, and will maintain an inventory of aircraft components and parts to support Boeing 787 operators worldwide. It will have access to UTC Aerospace Systems' rotables pool while leveraging its global MRO network and close relationship with operators that have ordered the Boeing 787.
