WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. (AP) - West Liberty University is hosting a free public screening of the documentary \"FrackNation,\" a film targeting environmental activists concerned about natural gas drilling and hydraulic fracturing. <\/p>\n
The screening is 6 p.m. Monday at the Highlands Center. It's sponsored by the school's Center for Economic Philosophy and will be followed by a discussion. <\/p>\n
The film follows co-director Phelim McAleer as he challenges environmentalists and they debate the facts as both sides see them. <\/p>\n
McAleer claims mainstream media haven't told the full story about drilling and fracking in Appalachia, or focused on people who support it. <\/p>\n
\"FrackNation\" was directed by McAleer, his wife and a colleague, and funded through Kickstarter. <\/p>\n
It's at least the third film focused on gas drilling, joining the HBO documentary \"Gasland\" and the Matt Damon movie \"Promised Land.\" <\/p>\n
