The Liberty Mutual Insurance Board of Directors today elected David H. Long, 52, Chairman of Liberty Mutual Insurance, effective June 28, 2013. Mr. Long, who is currently the companys President and Chief Executive Officer, will succeed Edmund F. (Ted) Kelly, 67, who is retiring as Chairman and Director at the end of June. <\/p>\n
Mr. Long has served in various leadership positions at Liberty Mutual over his 28-year career with the company. He became President in 2010 and Chief Executive Officer in 2011. <\/p>\n
