Eight major North American airlines and more than 100 airports are participants in AIN.

"As home to the world's sixth busiest airline hub, and with more than 1200 peak-daily arrivals and departures by a total of 11 scheduled passenger airlines includingfour foreign-flag carriers we consider it critical to ensure our real-time operational connectivity with airlines, airports, and others around the world," said Jon Hypnar, Chief Operating Officer of Wayne County Airport Authority, operator of Detroit Metro Airport.

"Detroit Metro Airport is the latest large hub airport to join our collaborative industrial social network," said Jim Barry, President and CEO of PASSUR Aerospace. "We applaud Detroit's vision in providing their most updated information to the worldwide community of airline operators."

The PASSUR Airport Operations ProgramAirports are being asked to provide more cost-effective, efficient, and safe airfield operations for carriers, to help them achieve greater throughput, quicker turns, and fewer ground delays critical elements of airline profitability in today's challenging environment.Airports also want to consolidate airfield management functions onto a single platform to minimize staff requirements.
