LOS ANGELES, Jan. 27 (UPI) -- British model Liberty Ross has filed for divorce from film director Rupert Sanders, her husband of 10 years, legal documents filed in Los Angeles show. <\/p>\n
Ross, 34, filed the divorce papers Friday, months after her husband, 41, was photographed in a steamy embrace with actress Kristen Stewart, the 22-year-old star of his movie, \"Snow White and the Huntsman.\" <\/p>\n
Ross appeared in the big-screen fairy tale as the mother of a younger version of Stewart's Snow White character. <\/p>\n
Both Sanders and Stewart apologized publicly for their affair and insisted it was over. <\/p>\n
\"This was a long time coming,\" UsMagazine.com quoted a source close to Ross and Sanders as saying about Ross' divorce filing. <\/p>\n
The insider said Sanders \"did want to try to repair the relationship and didn't want a divorce.\" However, a second person with knowledge of the situation told the magazine Ross was too upset to forgive and forget. <\/p>\n
The couple have two children together -- Skyla, 7, and Tennyson, 5. <\/p>\n
