Prerequisites are MAT 070 or placement into MAT 110, one year of high school biology, and one year of high school chemistry. Starting on Monday, January 14, the class will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 p.m. to 8:50 p.m. On Mondays, students will meet at the Illinois Science + Technology Park (IS+TP), 4901 Searle Parkway in Skokie, for lab work. A study funded by the National Science Foundation projects that 6 million nanotechnology workers will be needed worldwide by 2020, with 2 million of those jobs in the United States.
