Students at NASA have posted on YouTube an educational parody of the song to promote awareness of NASA and its Johnson Space Center. <\/p>\n
While nowhere near the original video's number of views, NASA's parody dubbed \"NASA Johnson Style\" already received over half a million views and almost 15,000 likes as of Monday afternoon, barely three days after it was posted. <\/p>\n
\"It was created as an educational parody of Psy's Gangnam Style. The lyrics and scenes in the video have been re-imagined in order to inform the public about the amazing work going on at NASA and the Johnson Space Center,\" reads the video description. <\/p>\n
A separate report on CNET said those who made appearances in the parody included NASA astronauts Tracy Caldwell Dyson, Mike Massimino and Clay Anderson. <\/p>\n
All three participated in space missions at least two times (or more), it said. <\/p>\n
