Sabbatical director for week 1 John Murray had me at work on the Tues after arrival in Bangkok. Joined Serge a Maryknoll volunteer from Haiti teaching an English class to Buddhist monks who have come out of Myanmar. They had some v interesting stories as they are from the Shan hilltribe ethnic minority who have escaped into Thailand. Teaching them English is one of the ways forward for them.
