Winds will again start to blow from the northerly direction. Recent snowfall over the hills of western Himalayas will cool down these winds, which in turn would give a chill effect over the plains. During the next two days, day and night temperatures of North west and central India including some parts of south India will witness a drop in temperatures by two or three degrees. The deep depression over east central Bay will intensify into a cyclone in the next 8 to 12 hours and subsequently it may weaken, gradually as it moves closer to the coast. This system would cut off the moist winds which were moving in to the north eastern states. Now moisture incursion will take place over Orissa and coastal Andhra Pradesh leading to cloudy weather. Dry and cool winds from north would continue up to Madhya Maharashtra and Telangana. Rain\/thunder shower would occur at many places over Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Rain and snow will also occur at few places over hills of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. Light rain at one or two places may occur over coastal Orissa, Gangetic West Bengal and north coastal Andhra Pradesh. Mainly dry weather is expected in rest parts of the country. Moving on to the major cities: Delhi will observe gradual fall in minimum temperature. Sky will be clear and maximum will reach 27 degrees. Minimum will be cool at 11 degrees.
